GhostStorm
I have a nice list of mods installed on my game and now that the game is updated to 1.28, will I need to re-mod it again? The mods vary from textures to ones such as Improved freight train and Improved Spotlight and LED lighting which means changing some of the games files. Ort will it be fine once scripthook has been updated?
Mr.Arrow
no because the patch only change "update.rpf file" and "common.rpf file"

No need to remove the mods
GhostStorm
I have 2 copies of the game's steam folder one with mods and one without which is the one I use if I am going online
Smokey7
Thats actually bullsh*t. Yes you do have to reinstall every mod that goes into the update.rpf and/or common.rpf archives. Although that hardly matters right now since you cant use the OpenIV.asi without an .asi loader (i.e ScriptHookV)

EDIT: Nevermind, the OpenIV team are Magicians! But you still have to reinstall everything that modifies update.rpf and probably common.rpf (only seen reports of common.rpf being updated, dont know if it actually is.) No. OpenIV.ASI is not requires ScriptHookV. OpenIV and OpenIV.ASI work just fine with latest GTA V path.

Yes i know, but the ASI Loader is part of the ScriptHookV Pack from AB. Anyways thats besides the point, how does OpenIV work exactly? It injects OpenIV.asi which still requires an ASI Loader right? So where is the ASI Loader? (Im not trying to argue with you, im trying to understand how it works, ive been a fan of your work since early IV.) Script Hook V (ScriptHookV.dll) - Is version dependent and must be updated for each version of GTA V. OpenIV.ASI (OpenIV.asi) - Is version independent and not uses Script Hook V. As for now it can work with any released version of GTA V. It is work because both ASI Loader and OpenIV.ASI are version independent. ASI Loader is not only part of Script Hook V it also included in OpenIV (can be installed through Tools > ASI Manager). Smokey7

Azum
patch didn't touch common.rpf, only GTA5.exe, GTAVLauncher.exe, a new social club installer, installscript.vdf, and update.rpf Edited July 8, 2015 by Azum
