I just got the rebate I think. It said there was a bank error in my favor. I got ~56k deposited by R*. Is this it?

When the DLC dropped I was already in an active crew and had my email verified with social club. I bought the Brawler first then found out about the rebate later that day. I then signed up for the R* mailing list and bought the T20 later that night. I would like to know which purchase I would get the rebate for.

 

Anyone else had this scenario and recieved their rebate already?

I haven't brought anything yet. So if I do today (it's 1am on the 15th in the UK) do I get a rebate? I have no idea. But hopefully I'll be getting a Zentorno. I won't expect a rebate but if I do good I guess.

Rockstar Support told me that you'll get the rebate for the first car you buy AFTER meeting all the 3 requirements, so you should get the rebate for the T20. I hope they are right too, cause if they are I'll also get the rebate for my T20, but if they are not I'll only get it for the Chino.

I had everything done except verify my email when I bought the T20. Just got the email that I got 550k deposited into my maze bank account. So I guess you don't have to do all 3 things before you buy the car.

I think you may have bought the Chino first. The rebate is only on the first IGG2 purchase.

I purchased the T20 on the 8th, before finding out about the promotional rebate.

 

I've yet to receive mine. Hopefully I should get it by the 19th !

Just spoke to R* Support; here's a quick recap:

 

This weekend I went and stalked LM on Lifeinvader for the 10% AND then went and signed up for the mailing list for the rebate. Bought a T20 and was charged full price.

 

Support tells me it only uses one or the other discount and suggested I wait till the rebate period is over to buy another car if I can. If I don't receive the 10%, hell credit it back into my account.

 

So, as far as I'm concerned, I must be getting the rebate since I didn't initially get the 10% discount. I would think anyone who DID get the 10% off their T20 (I saw a few people who did this) WILL NOT get their rebate.

Right?!?? I stand corrected... Luckily the Sand King isn't sold by Legendary Motorsports. I was looking for it on the site so I could purchase it for my utility vehicle garage, but stumbled across the T-20 first.

The rebate idea is a nice gesture for the cheaper cars. But for the new super cars getting 500k or so back for a car which should be no more than 1.5million in the first place is rockstar trolling at it's finest.

You can still buy today. James R from support told me that when explaining the rebate and discount situation. Told me to buy a car after today to get the 10%.
