f*ck! is the period to buy cars over? I tought it was until the 15th? I'm 100grand away from the mclaren! Can I still qualify for the rebate or is this the one departure train

I think the announcement said before the 15th so you should still be good. To be safe I'd recommend to buy it today.

Same here! I instantly checked my email when I saw your post.

 

 

Interesting, I can't check my email at work so will have to check when I get home, only 45 mins to go.

SPECIAL 25% REBATE ON A NEW VEHICLE FROM LEGENDARY MOTORSPORT

In order to qualify for the Legendary Motorsport Rebate, you must complete the following actions by July 15, 2015:

  1. Be on the Rockstar Games Mailing List
  2. Have a verified email address
  3. Be a member of any Crew

Qualified members will have a 25% rebate applied to their first Legendary Motorsport vehicle purchase made before July 15, 2015. Rebate cash will be deposited into your in-game Maze Bank account by July 19, 2015.

Quick question, has anyone found out if this works for both chars (if you have 2)? Do you get refunded if you buy a car with both or just reimbursed for the first bought with first character?

Got my $550k rebate today. I was surprised, because I bought T20 right after update was released, but I wasn't completed all the three steps at the time yet. Maybe it counts purchase after IGG2 update and those three steps can be done later.

 

Nice! Hope I get a T20 rebate too cause I was in the same position.

Well it makes sense. The discount adjusted your price immediately at the time of purchase, the rebate came later based on the actual price you ended up paying.

Haven't received the rebate yet either. They're giving out rebates until the 19th, though (application ends before or on the 15th, tomorrow). There's still time.

Well crap. I wish they had said something more obvious about this before releasing the DLC. I bought both the Brawler and the T20, only I bought the Brawler first so I only got 178k rebate.

account not characters so you only can get it the once as far as I know.

wow just checked my email and I got a rebate but for the brawler :/ I didn't have a confirmed email when I bought it on the 8th tho, I verified my account 2 days ago... think that could sway R* support into giving me the rebate for the t20 which I'm about a few thousand bucks away from
