PSN #1 got the rebate after submitting a ticket, Very fast. PSN #2 got the rebate today without submitting a ticket.

support said they gave me money but I totally forgot how much money I had. There is nothing in my transaction log and I didn't get a text saying there has been a mistake in my favor, is it possible that I got the rebate anyway?

Yes. They also gave me the rebate I was missing but there was no in-game message at all. No e-mail from Maze bank that said they'd made an error in my favor, nothing in the transaction log, and no message that Rockstar had corrected the money on my account either. So you should be good. No way to actually verify though... But in my case it was indeed added. Hopefully for you also.

I submitted tickets for both my accounts the morning of the 19th.

 

R* immediately replied to one of them asking I wait until after the 19th to continue.

 

I obliged and of course neither account had received the update come the 20th.

 

Updated both request dialogues via the support site and heard nothing.

 

Hit them up via twitter yesterday while providing ticket numbers for both affected accounts.

 

Within 3 hours of that had received the 550k for T20 on alternate account but still haven't heard a peep on the Brawler rebate due my main account.

 

Definition of inconsistent.

You will not get the rebate for both your players. Only good for one purchase tied to your rockstar account.

 

So again,these are two separate PSN accounts with each one linked to it's own SC account.

 

You're saying I won't get a rebate for each one?

 

I just don't see it playing out like that cuz its the same scenario as if two different people were eligible for rebates.

I'm happy that it worked out for you in the end, even if you did have to go to some lengths to settle it.

 

It's actually the main reason I'm still checking this topic every once in a while. There are a lot of people who received the short end of the stick on this. I hope everyone can get this issue solved satisfactorily ... though sadly it doesn't seem like that's going to be the case. That's a damn shame.

 

This mistake, error or what have you really shouldn't have occured in the first place. Least they can do is make it right.

New problem, Rockstar can't even find verification on my account that I bought the Osiris or Brawler, even though I have pics of the Osiris from 14 days ago. Dealing with the same guy as well, if that changes anything.

I didn't submit a ticket and got my rebate.

 

I bought the T20 on the first day and followed all three steps. I didn't think I'd get it, I wasn't concerned about it, but I logged-in to $550K today.

 

By the way, I bought the T20 on the 8th, but didn't link my SC account to my PSN till the 12th and didn't join a crew till the 14th. And I only linked my SC to my PSN 'cause R* was solving an issue and they told me to link them, I didn't do it for the rebate.

Never sent a ticket, just decided "whatever, not assed". Loaded up today (4 days after the date they said we'd get it by) and it told me my account had been credited with 550,000 dollars. I know for a 100 percent fact that the 1st car I bought after I made myself eligible was the black fin. I did buy a t20 afterwards though.

 

Whatever, I'm not complaining about free money.
