They answered my ticket faster than I expected. Got my money last night, they also sent a personal email saying how they had reviewed my account and confirmed that I did indeed qualify for the 25% rebate but did not receive it.

Same. I've submitted a ticket yesterday and less than 24h later they sent me an email stating that they've granted me the rebate.

I'm one of the ones that qualified but Rockstar keeps saying that my sh*t is UNVERIFIED.

 

UNBELIEVABLE.

 

I've been playing since PS3 days.

 

1) Part of TWO crews.

2) Verified email LONG time ago

3) Signed up for mailing service on July 8th.

 

AND THEY KEEP SAYING IM UNVERIFIED TO RECEIVE THE REBATE WHILE SOME PEOPLE ARE RECEIVING THE REBATE FOR NOT EVEN QUALIFYING.

 

f*ck U ROCKSTAR.

I submitted a ticket, they replied

 

We understand that you have missed the 25% rebate. Before examining your account, we request you to provide the vehicle name which you purchased.
Once we provide with this we can investigate it.

I submitted tickets for both my accounts the morning of the 19th.

 

R* immediately replied to one of them asking I wait until after the 19th to continue.

 

I obliged and of course neither account had received the update come the 20th.

 

Updated both request dialogues via the support site and heard nothing.

 

Hit them up via twitter yesterday while providing ticket numbers for both affected accounts.

 

Within 3 hours of that had received the 550k for T20 on alternate account but still haven't heard a peep on the Brawler rebate due my main account.

 

Definition of inconsistent.

You will not get the rebate for both your players. Only good for one purchase tied to your rockstar account.

After reviewing your account, it appears as though you didn't meet the following qualification for the rebate:

 

Bought one of the qualifying vehicles from Legendary Motorsport during the allotted time frame of July 8 – July 15

I finally got a response on the Q&A section of online to get them to look at my ticket. They opened it up, had a look (I can see they have), no contact and now its been 5 hours.

😄 I appreciate the gesture, however, Not a rebate, an accommodation! I got accommodated! Lol, anyways, I'm on PS4, bought the T20,

Was on the list, and in a crew. Not sure why this was not stated, good luck to all.

Lucky all you. R* are refusing to even give me my rebate. According to them, there's no record of me ever buying the Brawler. WTF?! o.O

Submitted my ticket yesterday. About 26 hours later, they responded and I got my rebate =)

Mine took a day and a half but i woke up to an email stating i got my 550k rebate for my "Enus Windsor". Lmao never bout that one, but at least i got my money.

Rockstar support dude was pretty nice and didn't even say he verified my account to check. Just said sorry here's your $550k.

Just got the rebate when i contacted R* support. Took less than hour to get it so at least the support system is working alright.

The support ticket system itself works very well. The problem is that some representatives aren't as patient or polite and really don't care much about helping you. That, and the fact that you don't always have the same representative through one string of tickets.

 

I dealt with James R for like 75% of our conversation on the issue and then for some reason switched to Michael S (who's English is not amazing). Then I got Ronald M who was as helpful as James. Took a couple days because I opened my ticket before the 19th, but I got my rebate. I also didn't get my 10% LM discount afterwards (I used it on the Blackfin) and they just credited me for that as well.

Yeah that's what i've heard unfortunately. My represantitive was Rodney K. and he seems like a good guy i suppose, gave me the cash right away.

Maybe you guys need to fiddle with their feels. This was what I said:

 

I realize that I many players are experiencing this issue, but nonetheless I have not received the 550k from purchasing the T20 as first vehicle. I do believe I was eligible yet I am unsure why it has not registered that I completed the three steps. It's appreciate your time in this matter and I believe you deserve a raise. Have a good day!

After reviewing your account, we went ahead and credited the rebate to your Shared Bank as a one-time customer accommodation. You will see the adjustment take effect the next time you access GTA Online.
