Your T20 rebate wasn't 178k. You must of bought the brawler first so your rebate was for that not the T20.

Currently they are saying be pacient while they investigate why it didnt work but for everyone who didnt get the money to send a ticket and wait. It seems the vast majority got no money so I cant see anyway out other than giving every player in the game 550k to be honest.

Why must R* always be this convoluted or opaque about what they do. Why can't it just have been straightforward for once. Had a hunch this "rebate" was going to be trouble the moment I saw how unnecessarily complicated it was.

Well, I was worried I wasn't gonna get my rebate, but thankfully last night I got a nice email saying they had deposited $550k into my bank C: Hopefully you guys will get yours soon; don't hesitate to make a ticket with them

My ticket was marked solved after two script monkeys copy and pasted answers that bore no relation to the questions I posed.

 

I did some fact finding on the interweb and found contact numbers for support. Gave them a bell, explained the issue at hand and how I met all the requirements etc and bam. Got my rebate actioned over the phone. Wham bam thank you sam. I'm glam, fa-malam.

Called to inquire about it, was told to wait through the 19th. Then received an email with ticket # and responded to that. Wheels are turning, just a matter of time. The suspense is terrible, I hope it will last 😄

I also haven't got my rebate. (funnily enough a friend at work who plays more casually got his rebate without even knowing anything about the rebates! He was on his phone and said oh wow I've made 38k gta dollars!) Do you think it's because when I found out about the rebate, I was already playing GTAO - I was on the website separately, I read about the rebate, got my email confirmed and joined the mailing list, THEN I bought my T20 - all the while I was on GTAO. It's the only thing I can think of, because I didn't have my email confirmed or signed to the mailing list when I logged into GTAO, but I did by the time I bought the T20 - but this shouldn't matter right? ...not to mention I've bought other legendary motorsport vehicles since then anyway...

 

Time to make my ticket...

Rockstar support blew me off (Oi! Mind out of the gutter!)

They gave me the usual copy paste crap about lost progress without actually bothering to read the fact that I didn't lose any progress at all...just didn't receive my rebate. They then asked for my PSN ID...which is conveniently linked to my social club...and an inventory of anything missing. Yeah...thanks C*...10/10 for reading comprehension.

As it happens I have had both of mine exactly as I should have and by the deadline of the 19th and I didn't log in until the 19th to check my 2nd

Hey guys, this is how to get a real answer, real dast from Rockstar Support.

 

1. Make a ticket

 

2. Send them a tweet on Twitter asking for them to look into your ticket, #xxxxxx.

 

The respond to tweets almost immediately and the ticket within minutes.

 

If you are getting copy/paste answers just close the ticket and start a new one.
