Just got the $550,000 rebate for my T20 despite me not having my email verified and me not on the mailing list at the time I purchased it. I couldn't tell if it came for me today or yesterday since I wasn't on all day yesterday.

 

But I'm happy. :)

Same predicament:L only bothering to write a ticket because it's more than 500k...anything lower I would have left it :p

Yeah, Rockstar would give people 550k who didn't buy anything or were even eligible, and leave those who followed their rules out.

 

Really not feeling like going ahead with the headache that is writing a ticket.

I'm on vacation, after all.

I've got my ticket in, suggest you guys do the same as there's millions of people who didn't get the rebate. Best be first in line. It'll take months to sort this out. I had a bad feeling this was too complex for rockstar.

I submitted my ticket as well. They should just give a 25% off price instead of this mess. Instant rebate like yesterday are much smoother. Even though I qualified and did everything correctly, I got nothing back.

They resolved my issue and gave me $15M, so I'm not worried about $550K. :)

ughh I still didn't get my rebate and I really don't want to submit a ticket but it looks like I have to. Wish me luck guys because we all know how crappy their support system is.

I got an e-mail saying my rebate had been added to my maze bank account, haven't made it online at all this weekend to see if it's true or not.

All they do is copy paste the same crap over and over. It would honestly be preferable to have no support staff at all than that..."differences in timezones" indeed. Well here in the UK, right now, it's 00:20, 20/7/2015...so in my timezone they have failed to meet their deadline. I honestly wonder why they bother with these events and stuff...so rarely does one ever go by without some huge, glaring issue. Edited by MeatSafeMurderer

It was a refund.

 

I bought a gold Luxor and Swift. I'm on last gen so the cigar and champagne don't work. Someone on the forum "encouraged" me to contact Rockstar. I did and they told me they would remove both items and give me $15M, but I had to relink me PSN is to my SC account. I would end up losing $150K, but I was cool with that.

 

I received the $15M in two payments. Here's the pic of the $8M payment. Sorry for the potato quality BTW.

They just told me via email that the 19th is not over yet and I still might get it.....

 

Rockstars HQ is 4 hours away from the 20th stupid asses I'm not gonna receive it in that time?

 

Just gimme my f*cking rebate... I swear, the way they have took the piss like this I'm removing myself from that mailing list as soon as I get that rebate...

i was in the support site and of the first 30 threads, 19 were of people complaining about not receiving the rebate.

 

one was like "i bought an osiris, im broke and really need my rebate"

R* already answered me today and said not to worry until the 20th.

 

Apparently "by" the 19th includes the 19th in this case.

Maybe people havent got theirs because they didnt buy the T20 on the release day?

 

My friend got his on release day and got his 550k back much quicker than i did

 

I bought mine on the 12th

I bought the T20 the day it came out unaware of any rebate. When I found out about it I checked to see if I had all 3 qualifications, found out I wasn't on the mailing list so added that but I honesty thought I wouldn't get it since I had already bought the car but yesterday I finally received a message saying my account balance was corrected by 550k by R* so I'm happy.
