Yes. You get the rebate through a purchase after verifying all your SC details. You can't get a rebate on the purchase from SC if SC doesn't have info on the purchase to rebate. Only way it gets that info is being linked.

I signed into the social club and clicked on all the items required for the rebate on the list until it gave me a green check mark on each and got my money the next day.

Well I'm on mobile. I had a red box on top of my sc page with the 3 requirements listed and a link for each. Clicking the first gave me a page that included the green check. The other two links didn't do that anthough I meet all requirements. I verified with R* that I do qualify for the rebate.

Yes that page was the only place I got a green check as well. The first link in the red box took me there.

In my case, R* support told me they'll keep my ticket open til the 21st and if I don't get my rebate by then, to just respond to my existing ticket. Might not be a bad idea to open up one now with an inquiry so they might be able to get to you a bit quicker later on.

It all depends on the representative. I dealt with James R and he was super helpful. Didn't give me any copy/paste answers, answered back quickly, and was very polite and understanding. To the point that I even made mention of how helpful he was compared to my previous experiences with support. Usually I get stuck with that sperm receptacle Brian B.

The later you buy it, obviously the later you get the rebate. I got the rebate on the first day they started handing out rebates since I got the cars on the day the update launched.

Still haven't gotten my T20 rebate, I did everything, I'm sure my email was verified, I am in a crew and all that jazz, and I'm still subscribed to that mailing list... If I don't get mine by the said 19th, I guess it's a ticket to be sent, knowing myself though, I probably forgot a step somewhere (hopefully not the case.)
