intrestingly , like musket , you can perform piercing kills even though it's not a sniper ( or at least a pistol behaves one , just like musket and SA's rifle )

the gun's size comparable to sawn-off shotgun , which explain why it can't be used on car

 

also used cartridges are not dropped when reloading, the user simply inserts another bullet . if looking closely , the bullet is bigger than normal pistol ( the bullet is shared with other pistol in category , except flaregun )

Yep, dropping cops out of helis at their normal circling distance. Yes, this is T/C Contender. It's neat but not sure how much I would use it. Pistol slot already cluttered with the gift pistol, flare and AP.

 

I've shot a Contender in 7mm-08, kind of unpleasant. He had a .308 barrel, I passed on that. Hunting handgun? Kinda dumb.

I can confirm this. I was using the Marksman Pistol when I was going against cops and several cops were lined up like ducks. So I shot the first cop and the bullet traveled through his head and into the heads of the two cops behind him. It was sweet but a 4th cop was able to kill me while I was reloading the pistol. Still pretty cool and I can't wait to use it against other players.

A few hours later I got into a fight with three players and everyone was using the pistol-- despite having used my rank 62 character I did not die when I was hit by it once, which was a bit surprising, but it sure is an extremely powerful gun.

I killed a lvl 260 awith 3 body shots. I have noticed that it kinda varies. It is usually kills, but sometimes it just knocks npc's down in missions, killing them on the next shots.

hah , i did withness same thing on someone's video , too

despite it's stats alongside damage stated game's files , someone still barely survive a direct hit from this weapon , musket or even heavy sniper ( even i managed to survive a hit from heavy sniper , in rare circumstances ) . so my theorize about lag is wrong ( i taught lag can also falsefied the damage received from the victim )

The Contender was made first in the sixties. And yes, it's more powerful than a Desert Eagle in 50AE. Just compare the the size of a 50AE cartridge with the size of a 45-70 rifle round used by the Contender.

 

If you are talking about the Heavy sniper in 50 BMG... Yeah, the Heavy sniper is already much weaker than in real life. It should be a one hit kill even in thé foot by dismemberment. Balance reasons.

The contender is a very niche' gun. It has swappable barrels and can be had in a wide variety of calibers from .17 hornet to .500 S&W mag (i think they can chamber it in anything really)

It's a modern designed, single shot breech loading pistol that fires a rifle caliber bullet. It's much more powerful than a .50 pistol because it is, essentially, a sniper rifle with a short barrel and no stock.

 

Not sure why you feel it's a 200 year old pistol.
