I'm PC gamers are unhappy then. I got the last 2 on PS4, although it sucks that it doesn't work on Last-Gen though.

I went to the mask store and purchased them from the hats part for free on PS4. I am level 120 and was just in freeroam for ages checking aout the terrible new gear and buying cars. The best part of the update, bar the T20. I did not have a single one before, so I bet it's a glitch. Also lol at all the elitism here. I am sorry I didn't get the chance to find them and only a select few like you should have them right? *sigh*

 

Yeah, that attitude is pretty funny to me. I hunted all four of the non-glitched hats back in the day and while it was fun to have them, I never lorded it over anyone or felt like it made me special. I'm glad other people are getting them now, just like I'm glad I was able to get the two that were never actually dropped. It's a stupid hat in a video game, why do people care about this..?

 

 

Inferiority complex much guys? I haven't seen anyone saying only a select few should have them, just me saying that it sucks that R* undermines their own challenges in-game.

 

 

What inferiority complex? Pay attention: I already had all four of the ones you could get without glitching. Who was I supposed to feel inferior to?

 

It's just not hard to read between the lines and see that for a lot of people, owning something rare (even something as stupid as a virtual beer hat) validates their self-worth in some strange way, and as soon as other people get it, they don't care about the rare thing anymore. I guess I've never identified with that kind of collector. I have almost all the rare stuff (clothing only) in game, but only to fill out my wardrobe and for the fun of competing for it, not so I can show off to "peasants." When I see a guy wearing a beer hat and a K-JAH shirt and driving a hearse, I know exactly what kind of peacock I'm looking at, and they're the same guys in here complaining every time a glitch like this happens, or when Rockstar decides to put the Asea up for sale.

 

Anyway, my feeling is: if you hunted the crates, you had the hats exclusively for a year. That's plenty of time to enjoy the rarity. If they'd given them away a week later, then maybe the challenge would have been "undermined" more meaningfully.

For all PC players, here's what I got when I tried to get my beer hats back after they disappeared when I transferred:

So I don't think they even exist on the PC. If someone who mods can try and find them in the game files that would be cool.

Got something similar too but I did have them on PC for sure. They went missing after IGG pt 1... They gave me the option to retransfer to get them back but I ain't doing that.

I tried everything I could think of and nothing worked. If anyone does find a way to get them on Last-Gen, let us know. At least I have them on PS4 though.

It was the same for me but after starting up the mission "a Titan of a job" and leaving it after 2 minutes they where there at the discount store but not at ponso.

Don't forget that Please Stop Me Mask, Statue of Happiness T-shirt, Victory Fist T-shirt and Elitas T-shirt is also missing for people that originally owned it and then transferred to PC on top of the Beer hats. I'm missing all these items and I hate R* for that.
