All beer hats unlocked for all players?

GUYS THIS BETTER GOTTA BE TRUE AND NOT FIXED WITHIN THE NEXT HOURS OMG

 

So lemme sum it up:

 

- NG Only

- Do a Random Mission / Heist

- Buy some clothing?

- Go to Binco and they're there

 

Also does it unlock the Pisswasser Hat as well? Missed it in the event

I didn't do a mission but did buy the new weapons, some clothing and cars

Just logged in my original profile. No change in beer hats. Slot 1 has 3 that were obtainable, while slot 2 has all 4.

 

PS 4 btw....

 

Just when we'd forgotten about this clusterf*ck, it springs to life again.

 

I think this actualy might be on PS4 only, seeing those comments - nothing on PC version at least.

In case you think I'm just moaning because I didn't want anyone else to have them, rockstar just 100% killed any incentive to do any special crate collecting or playlists or anything else that has a time limited reward, because obviously they are just going to give everything away in future anyway.

 

So the only rare stuff becomes glitched or modded stuff like the cop outfit, which again is bad for the game.

 

99% of you have no idea how hard it was to get a single beer hat first time round, let alone all 4, and then there was the endless hunting for the blarney. None of any of that ended up being for anything.

I went to the mask store and purchased them from the hats part for free on PS4. I am level 120 and was just in freeroam for ages checking aout the terrible new gear and buying cars. The best part of the update, bar the T20. I did not have a single one before, so I bet it's a glitch. Also lol at all the elitism here. I am sorry I didn't get the chance to find them and only a select few like you should have them right? *sigh*

 

Yeah, that attitude is pretty funny to me. I hunted all four of the non-glitched hats back in the day and while it was fun to have them, I never lorded it over anyone or felt like it made me special. I'm glad other people are getting them now, just like I'm glad I was able to get the two that were never actually dropped. It's a stupid hat in a video game, why do people care about this..?

 

 

Inferiority complex much guys? I haven't seen anyone saying only a select few should have them, just me saying that it sucks that R* undermines their own challenges in-game.

I went to a Binco immediately following the update being downloaded. Went right to the hat section and they were all there marked as FREE. Only had 2 previously and didn't do any other missions or buy anything else to have them appear. Got them all now but will never use any of them.

For all PC players, here's what I got when I tried to get my beer hats back after they disappeared when I transferred:

So I don't think they even exist on the PC. If someone who mods can try and find them in the game files that would be cool.

Yesterday on my primary character (XB1) I was able to obtain all six beer hats at the Discount Store.

 

I attempted to purchase them on my secondary character, but none were visible at the Discount Store or Binco's.

 

Later I unlocked the showroom t-shirt on my secondary character, and after that all six beer hats were available at the Discount Store.

 

I had already unlocked the t-shirt on my primary character before purchasing the beer hats yesterday.

 

Me and many of my friends were unable to unlock the showroom t-shirt prior to yesterday's update. It is possible that the glitch may involving unlocking the showroom shirt.

Worked for me on PS4, went over & checked Binco but no sign of them then did a mission (blowup III) exited to free mode & went straight back over to Binco & the two I had missing were now listed so I now finally have all 6.

Nevermind. Got it figured out. Worked on slot 2. Logging into slot 1 now.

I've done a Martin and Simeon mission to do this. Both times Binco clothing is closed.

It worked for me as well. Did a short contact mission (out of court settlement), then bought some clothes at Perseus and then all beer hats were unlocked at a Binco store. Finally got the Pisswasser one.

i have all 6 as well now lol. awesome since i had none and always wanted one but never really payed attention to crate events till this past one. no more special beer hat peeps now lol
