All beer hats unlocked for all players?

After I completed the Fleeca Job on Xbox One and went to the Binco Clothing near the Rooftop Rumble area, I got the Blarneys and J-Lager Beer hats, I had the other 4. I think the method thats shown to work is complete a heist, and then check!

I didn't have these earlier, but I did a heist setup with a friend, then afterward got dumped into a public free roam and checked in at a nearby Suburban (one up in the desert, if it matters), and there were the two that I didn't already have. Schweet.

sh*t, I wish I had read that earlier, I am now re-download every update, I deleted everything, now I have to download 6.793GB worth of sh!t in hopes that I may get these hats, just to collect, not to wear.

So far I haven't met anyone on PC who had their beer hats transfer or had them unlock with this update.

 

I'm still pretty pissed about it, especially since Rockstar Supports response is something like "We can't give them back to you because they're not available."

 

Like, WTF does that mean? They're not even present in the PC version or what?

 

Edit: Maybe nobody did a heist setup/finale. I'm going to try these ideas now.

If this is true I will record it from the 4 through the heist to having 6, that will be 100% proof, if that works then we know, if not we keep hunting.

 

I still have @15minute of re-downloading before I can play though.

Went there no hats. Went back to ponsenbys, didn't even know could get hats there and all unlocked! Defo not under special hats first time round

I can support it! I had none of the beer hats appearing in the Special Hats tab, but after doing a random contact mission (Rooftop Rumble to be exact) the beer hats showed up at Binco.

 

So, you can also do any type of contact missons- not just heists.

I haven't unlocked them, "yet." But I haven't done a mission, I only did a LTS, but that got lagged out, but currently on a lobby for Pacific Standard - Bikes, so I hopefully will get the hat some how.

No doesn't work on PC played final heist the one with Trevor and got nothing. I lost all my beer hats and some special clothing and cant even get back my beer hats. F*CK R*

Can confirm it works on PS4! Just did a quick Fleeca Score setup and there they were. All 6 of them. Acquired every single one.

I just did a Simeon mission alone and after I went to the discount store and all the beer hats are there

I had a few beer hat already

 

So do a quick Simeon mission and the beer hats will show up

 

Before the mission it was not showing up

I was able to "Buy" beerhats for free from the hat stand near the mask shop in vespucci beach

Yep - just did RR and then both hats (J-Lager & Blarney's) were available in Ponsonbys.

Working on Xbox One. You don't even have to pass the setup. I did the setup to unlock the J Lager and Blarney hats with randoms and one of them left.

 

Well, so much for these hats being the Holy Grail of rare items.

Mine didn't show up when I went to Posenbys or Suburban Outfitters (which has been said before). It also didn't show up when I went to the Binco near the Family's turf. I'd bought clothes and went to change my appearance (to see if they added anything new, I didn't buy anything)

 

Went to the one in Textile City (down the street from the movies, across the canal from Lester's Heist warehouse) and they showed up. This was after I did a Simeon mission and a Team Deathmatch.

I had my Items transfer with me, but I lost all of them with Ill-Gotten Gains Part 1.I'd hoped Rockstar would have fixed it, but they didn't, and the probably won't
