All beer hats unlocked for all players?

In case you think I'm just moaning because I didn't want anyone else to have them, rockstar just 100% killed any incentive to do any special crate collecting or playlists or anything else that has a time limited reward, because obviously they are just going to give everything away in future anyway.

 

So the only rare stuff becomes glitched or modded stuff like the cop outfit, which again is bad for the game.

 

99% of you have no idea how hard it was to get a single beer hat first time round, let alone all 4, and then there was the endless hunting for the blarney. None of any of that ended up being for anything.

Yep... When they were first introduced, I got 2 hats from special crate drops (actually collected around 4, but the same hats kept appearing). I glitched the other two hats somehow by switching characters. With that being said, I am okay with them being in the store, but it does kinda kill the incentive to attack Special Crates so aggressively.

Surely it' got to be a glitch/by-product of the update? If it was intentional on the part of R*, wouldn't everyone have access to the final two beer hats?

Some people are reporting that J-Lager & Blarney's Beer Hats are available ('FREE') in clothing stores post-IGG:2.

Do you now have access to the final two beer hats? If so, what console/platform are you using and did you have any Beer Hats prior to the update?

 

I'm on PS4 and have the same 4 hats I had prior to the update. No J-Lager or Blarney's.

At work right now, but I had only collected 2. If they're all there when I get home, I'll download them but never use them.

 

Personally, I've found all the 'limited edition' and 'rare' stuff to be ugly and pretty much unusable for me. So the fact that they're available for a lot of people now is pretty funny, especially from seeing the people that thought they were special for having them freak out, haha.

well they really don't have any choice but to do that, seeing as since they don't want to even acknowledge the god mode exploits which makes it next to impossible to get any crates because they either glitch out and don't even end up dropping 99% of the time and when they do drop there is always at least one scumbag hiding in god mode in every single server (on all four consoles and PC) that ends up getting the crates. There actually have been a lot of players for those very reason that have requested that Rockstar Games stop using the crate drops and just put everything in the stores.

Check Binco. I went to Ponsoby's and didn't find them, went to Binco and they were right there.

Which is absolutely f*cking amazing as I didn't have any of them lol.
