All beer hats unlocked for all players?

With the new update i found six beer hats unlocked, I created the character about ten days ago so I don't know why. The beer hats are Supa Wet, Blarneys, Patriot, J Lager, Benedict, Pisswasser, all of them for 0$ under the "special hats" section. I'm on ps4.

It appears to be luck/unluck of the draw if you get/lose your Beer Hats, I personally didnt have any changes on either of my characters.

From what I've seen, everyone who transferred to PC lost them and the Help Me Please mask in the trasnfer process.

In case you think I'm just moaning because I didn't want anyone else to have them, rockstar just 100% killed any incentive to do any special crate collecting or playlists or anything else that has a time limited reward, because obviously they are just going to give everything away in future anyway.

 

So the only rare stuff becomes glitched or modded stuff like the cop outfit, which again is bad for the game.

 

99% of you have no idea how hard it was to get a single beer hat first time round, let alone all 4, and then there was the endless hunting for the blarney. None of any of that ended up being for anything.

Update: They are only there for my main character. Just checked if I can also get them on my secondary character, but nope, not there for him.

1 - Until Rockstar says otherwise, you should assume this is a glitch and not intentional.

2 - You still most likely have dozens of other rare crate items, so let's not lose our sh*t just yet.

3 - You also had the hats you hunted for a solid year that other people didn't have them. Did you assume infinite exclusive ownership?
