Why, because you, or for that matter, anyone, were on-topic before I came along to join the off-topic fun? I don't see that being the case. This thread has long since moved past actually discussing the "next update" after IGG2.

 

Well the topic is "The Next DLC" so me trying to explain to hard heads that whats coming is a DLC is very much on topic.

 

As much as I had fun with this off-topic discussion, it is not on-topic for the thread.

 

I am quite certain that as stupid as GTAF members can go, they're not dumb enough to not know what another person means when they say either "the next update" or "the next DLC" just because they prefer the other. We're essentially debating about semantics that most people don't give a **** about.

 

 

 

I dont care if they call it an update or DLC. Its both but to say its NOT a DLC, I'll politely correct you.

Rockstar brings out updates so we buy stuff and they hope we buy shark cards.

 

If there are no new vehicles in this update, there really isn't anything that would make people want to purchase shark cards. The majority of players at this point are likely maxed out on vehicles and properties and really have nothing to spend money on. Could a 4th property be coming in this update? Could last gen limits have been keeping R☆ from adding that 4th slot?

Would be nice to Paint Pegasus Vehicles, Such as Marshall, Oh wait we already had that but its not working, no wait, It is, Plates are compatibile and Paint as well Its even had Insurance Cost setted as Default to 13k when Trashmaster and Barrack Hasnt, Thats Odd.

They didnt say Last Gen is dead. In fact they said the opposite. Last gen will get more stuff. It just wont be major stuff.

They didnt say Last Gen is dead. In fact they said the opposite. Last gen will get more stuff. It just wont be major stuff.

 

Actually yes they did (IGN article, could someone shoot a link to it) one of the head honchos over at R* (think his last name was Sawar) stated that last gen was at thier limit when Heists came out but due to some Creative Programming, they wre JUST able to fit IGG1&2 and now if they tried to do something more, they could jepordize the stability of online

And those "people" who claimed R* were crass opportunists were most likely Ignorant and thought their 10 year old console(s) was equal to todays consoles (Obviously not true) and thought that R* was ripping them off because of whats just stated up above

I ssume you mean "would a 4th garage break the game?" In which I would say no.

 

To those who state that R* said it took clever programming to implement IGG, I'd like to point out that IGG wasn't only cars with gullwing doors and fur collared jackets. Part 1 came with the lab radio station. I believe that is the part that required the clever programming. I don't think last gen is dead yet, just in the aspect as to new gameplay additions. And that's coming from a current gen player.

I'm sorry for the dismissive tone of my original comment. It just seems odd to hear you so pessimistic about a new update.

 

I live in reality, I know R* has a tendency to break their game (I just spent hours trying to get Los Santos Connection to pop up) but it's an after thought, not my first inclination.

DLCs are not.

 

You can't play Online at all if you haven't downloaded this. Therefore it's an update.

GTA:Online has UPDATES, not DLCs! When i check the gamestore, i cannot choose any DLC! There are no DLCs!

The "LOW" DLC could be scrapped or delayed to next month.

We should wait until they release the next update and check.
