If it means anything, I can confirm that the car in that screenshot is the Coquette. With a similar angle, all of the key features are there. The white dials are almost definitely a glitch or some potential new/customisable interiors?

Something interesting I noticed in the second picture with the glitched out dashboard, look at the gauges and look where it's pointed, 0 RPMs and 0 MPH correct? Now look at the picture you took while you were in a T20...

The gauges are stuck in the middle. If you get out of the car and look at the gauges, do they go back down to 0? If not, then we may have something interesting on our hands.

That's true, the rock doesn't look as detailed as the one in your screen shot. The grass looks pretty high definition though, as well as the players featured in the photo. Also, I'm pretty sure the Coquette didn't have white speedometers and tachometers in the PS3/Xbox 360 versions, they reused a GTA IV interior with green lighting on the speedometers and tachometers.

I'm thinking we'll get more details on the next DLC tomorrow and then a release on Thursday or next Tuesday.

Im thinking that there's NO WAY we get it this week. The "leakers" would already have told us that it is in the marketplace. Until someone who knows how to check that, says it has been uploaded, there is zero reason to expect it "soon". (at least within a week) Well Fun would be the person to "verify" that to your liking and he's the one saying it MIGHT be next week.

 

Also we have a new venue, PC, to check for signs that DLC might drop. Having never heard of this method before (I've been following the forums for leaks since last fall) it might have come from PC.

 

still I'm optimistic but not counting on an update dropping this week.

 

Also stoked to see Yan22 has been commenting. I've seen him collaborating with Fun on twitter.

I'm glad that I'm not the only one who's noticed this. They completely axed a lot of good interiors. The Rapid GT Roadster had a slick Aston Martin interior. What happened? Gone. Infernus-Lamborghini interior? Gone. Ruiner-1980's interior? Gone. Manana-1970's interior? Gone. There's more I'm sure, not taking into account the many unique interiors IV had such as the Moonbeam, Sabre, and Turismo. For those getting your hopes up for the insides of these new classic vehicles, stop. The Faction will likely get a typical classic muscle car interior, the Moonbeam will probably get a modern SUV interior just like the Surfer did, and etc.

 

Typical whining, I know, but interiors do matter in a car. I'm surprised we still can't change the color of them.

 

I've said it before, but I'm still hoping for a "revamp" update where they polish and add variety to the interiors, and fix the extra lights and door mechanisms on some cars. We'll see if they step up their game on detailing new vehicles. More recently, the detailing (or lack thereof) on the Brawler left me somewhat disappointed.

But what are the chances of that ever happening? Current-gen was supposed to be their revamp and they did indeed revamp a lot. But interior-wise it's a different story obviously. My fav too. Got 3 of em (couldnt pick a look, so got 3) plus 2 coq classics n 1 blackfin lol. OT Idk im going with the previous idea (cant remember who) where they add a lowrider category and add the new vehicles with the existing ones. Same as loco low from sa. Im thinking the new lamar job icon leak and R* saying about the new freeroam activity mean bounce competition like sa. Also the leaks earlier this year about the stylish words ppl thought were for a dance competition were actually for the low comp. Also their were a couple liveries for each low low in sa. Anyone rember the "bass boost" option in sa?

I'm hoping hydraulics are for specific vehicles, like the Tornado, Peyote, Manana, and other sports classics. And I agree about not having them for everything... Imagine some douche with an Insurgent hitting that three wheel motion then running you over... Screw that.

I hope they add a '64 Impala period... Even if it doesn't have hydraulics. But you can't have lowriders without a '64. I hope the new Tornado will have a chop top, and they add the option for gold wheels. I can't wait. Part of me is hyped and the other part is just bracing itself for disappointment.

What would u consider the voodoo to be. I think its declasse (chevy). Its the only car on the list we know for sure. Ive been waiting for the clean version since the game came out. My dad was a greaser back in the day and he had a chevy "409". Not sure what year, but im assuming it was an impala.

'61-65 and would've had to have been an Impala (as far as I know)

 

Whatever the new cars turn out to be, (it's pretty obvious what they probably will be, but I guess anything's possible)

I hope they come stock or can at least be made to look it. I like the type of cars that are usually made into lowriders, but I don't care for hydraulics or the tiny tires they usually have.

 

Better that than DONKS, at least...yech.

 

But if there's no choice, so be it. I'd still much rather take this over more new sports and super cars.

I don't see the reason to release additional versions of cars like the Virgo or two versions of the Faction unless they're either 4 doors or specifically for hydraulics.

That doesn't however prevent the from adding the to the Mañana or Peyote later.

They could be different generations for all we know. More generations of cars is always welcome in my book.

 

And besides, the "new" Virgo could be the beloved one from IV. You know? Lil Jacob's whip?

Thats pretty badass, do you have any pictures of his car would love to see it. My cousin(R.I.P) used to lowride also back in the 90s, he had lots of buick's and cadillacs and so on. Im currently fixing up mine right now I own a 79 buick regal.

 

OT: The voodoo is based of the 1960 chevy impala and a small mx of the 59 impala, the bottom is a 1960.

I do realize that the chances of it happening are slim, since the majority of player base are looking forward to new content rather than improvements. Myself, I can appreciate both, as in the case of Flight School update (i.e. not much compelling content offset by massive improvements).

As for them somewhat skimping on CG interiors, I think it was a question of practicality (i.e. balancing the game's massive size) rather than dev laziness. In the case of Star Citizen, adding multiple minute texture details literally doubled the game's size to over 100GB, and that caused a bit of an uproar, even though storage is easier to come by on PC. On consoles, that'd have put a lot more people off. I just wish they'd have picked/mixed the interiors with a little more.. deliberation.

Ive never seen any. It was white and i think he said something about a "bubble top". He was in a car club back then. E boots, da haircuts, greased hair, switchblades, drag racing, etc. Kinda shady though tbh. His friends r either dead or in prison. They used to rob stores, and fight other "clubs". Then he got drafted. Ive just heard stories. He used to mention that the dodge "diggers" were taking over the drag racing scene. I did see a pic of his blue71 mach1 he had. I ended up with his 79 ta 6.6L though. My first car, boy i miss it.
