Since we are getting another slamvan here is my guess on what will it be, a 1951 Chevrolet 3100

Or it could simply be the de-liveried "Lost" version. Kind of like Gang Burrito 2. I really hope the rumored hydraulics, if included, won't end up exclusive to these new versions of the vehicles. I certainly do not want to have to sell and rebuy my Chino and Tornado.

 

As far as whitewall tires go, I'd gladly welcome white strips over them. Most of the lowriders, as well as certain other cars (e.g. Blackfin), look wrong with whitewalls. They'd look perfect with white strips.

Not to put words in his mouth, but from context, it looks to me that he was just clearing up confusion regarding vehicle codename references. I don't think he ever meant to imply that it'd be a completely different vehicle. In any case, we'll see soon (hopefully) enough.

I would say 50/50 is about correct. If the update is next week info has to be this week. Even if it is two weeks from now I can see a third article coming. This weeks would be about the freeroam content, the third about vehicles and such (if there is any)

There will probably only be one more article announcing it, then release. It is usually no more than a week before, but they have on several occasions posted an announcement just 1 day before release.

 

If you have to ask "What are they waiting for?" I'm guessing you are new here. They keep us waiting everytime they hint at a new update.
