They're not going to release it on the 17th just because V launched that they. It'll come when it comes. This week, next week, or the last week of September for all I know.

Yeah they barely mentioned their anniversarys last year, let alone a new dlc. But ppl like to hope, which is a good thing. Plus with r* who nows. I remember when we always got new dlcs on tuesday. Now any day of the week is a possibility.

If they were going to release based of related Holidays then May 5 would have been the day to release low-riders and hydraulics. Come to think of it, I miss the Lowrider Mag. Cinco-de-Mayo special issue. As far as the GTA anniversary goes, it makes more sense to drop the DLC before and hold an event for that DLC on the anniversary.

Like @Scaglietti and @Pizentu, they can release it at anytime they want.

However before releasing it, they will have to announce some info about it.

Because they know someone will leak the information about the update.

The marketplace thing is when we know that the DLC is ready.

They upload it early at the devs marketplace for verification.

If the DLC is big then I don't think they will post a new article about it.

Think about it, would you choose to release a trailer that showcase everything new coming with the update or a new article with more than 12 pics about the new vehicles and the new events ?

It doesn't have to be a trailer, they can let IGN or CVG report the information about the new update.
