Don't see the Savage as a Hunter replacement! The Savage is likely a Mi-24 or 35, and Hunter is a AH-64 Apache, the favorite!

Going by their recent pattern of announcements, R* usually wait till the near end of the current month and then release the following one right at the beginning of the next new month. And if Fun is correct in saying the update will have the Editor along with new content, this is gonna be a sweet update.

I feel the game needs a breath of fresh air from day one 2013 the map has never grown they have given us numerous updates with new cars,planes,boats two new garages and a new apartment interior we now need more activities new places to explorer new additions to the map and new bigger apartments n new garages the game is becoming un balanced with all the vehicles and no room to store anymore stuff I think they need to focus more on opening up the map now they want ppl to spend money this is a sure way to get people to spend their hard earned cash...

This ^. Sure Rockstar would love to do this. But on consoles at least, the game or hardware can't handle it, the game is near-enough running on max capacity on current gen. People moan about the loading times, well they will be even longer and the graphics would have to be turned down.

 

As technology grows however, this will be possible, eventually.

if rockstar will have online continue with each new gta then there plan with map expansions will go along with that.

 

ex:if gta 6 is set in vice city then that map will be added to online but only when they release gta 6.

 

so again i THINK that new maps will only be added when a new gta is released.

 

expecting it before that is just setting yourself up for disappointment

R* reset their clock with the PC release. Don't expect a map "expansion" any time soon. We still have SP DLC coming up (if ever) as wel as the casino paths (if ever) and they need to do something with Bahama Mama's (if ever).

 

I do remember R* mentioning they wanted to expand the map so I believe they will come.

 

Current gen console limitations only matter if map expansions are in the same "load"., I think map expansions would be handled in separate lobbies.

 

Not to mention I expect map expansions to be paid DLC. Easy to handle the conundrum of keeping those who didn't pay away from the new map with separate lobbies

 

Which makes me wonder how they will be handled. How do we get our cars over there? Do we automatically get 3 new garages with out cars cut and pasted over? I'm not sure I would even want that. I mean I love my cars and would want to drive them on the new map but I would hope an expansion would include a whole new roster of cars. .

 

Additionally it would change the way R* makes maps. They said in the past the map was story driven although you look at Los Santos and you can see MP maps inserted in it. If they release a map expansion before GTAVI, I can't see a deep story driving map creation. We'll probably see a map primarily made with MP in mind.

 

(Just seen a tweet from Ned Luke "hinting" at a new campaign. Remember I said "I don't see a DEEP story driving map creation)

I think vehicle access will be similar to the storage system when u downsize ur garage. U could call the mechanic for delivery , but u would need to return to sa to see them in ur garage . They could also implement the vehicle selection from heist missions into contact mission so u could still use them in the new city for the new missions.
