I think it'll be out next week honestly, also I hope they announce whatever it is they bought to Gamescon so secretly. I'm really interested to see their next big thing whether it's a new IP or Single Player DLC.

They probably showed something to retailers. We don't know if it's a new game, a DLC or something else.

Well, I would agree, but I believe the Creator was released alone as it's own update. No cars, guns, clothes, etc.

But at that time GTA V was only available for PS3 and Xbox 360. Considering the fact that the Editor update is focused on CG consoles, PC and last gen would get nothing, so yeah, cars and guns are a must for the next update so everyone is happy.

Also how long has it been since Ill Gotten Gains part 2 was released? (I was on a break at the time it was released) but wasn't it at the begging of June? It's been a while since a new update.

 

And what about the players that don't want the editor? We'd have to wait even longer for new content.

 

I'm hoping they will announce the DLC anytime soon, I think maybe next week there will be an announcement? As much as I want the DLC sooner it might be better if it comes out when kids go back to school so hopefully the 'adults' can play in peace.

Not likely. If it were coming out next week, it would already be in the Xpox marketplace system. Until the "leakers" say its in there, its not worth expecting "soon".

I don't think it is BS. I just think that it will be the Update that we get with the Editor or Stunt Races. I'd say coming with the editor is more likely though. I imagine sport bikes/cars coming with stunt races.

What are "Stunt Races"?

Go to Socialclub and search the Rockstar created races. In the drop down menu for race types, the last option says "Stunt Races". There are no races in that category yet. It is believed that this is tied to the update to the creator that is coming soon that allows proper support of stacking objects.

Do we think the release of the editor for CG consoles could be the beginning of the end of DLC being released across all platforms at once?

 

Example: limiting or even stopping development for LG, could suggest some decent content being developed in future and not restricted by old console limitations..

The LOW dlc was found by funmw2, he found the hashes of the cars in the game files that was added with ill gotten gains update part 2.

Also, Bahama Mamas has been in new gen from launch. I doubt it is coming soon.

 

I feel like it will be part of a large paid DLC. I am still looking forward to the paid stuff.
