There doing it for 2 reasons.

1. People were bitching like crazy at the prices of the items in the IGGs 2 part DLC.

2. People have abandoned the game.

 

This 2x $ isnt in any way an indication that something is going to be released next week. Or anytime soon for that matter.

It doesnt rule it out either,though. We do know there is something in the works. It will likely be soon. (This month).

Well I just mean't the return of this vehicle. It had such a small role in the orginal SA, however with actual working features in V, it would be a fun vehicle to use. All the current normal & DLC boats are just fancied up speedsters, pretty boring & not to appealing to most people.

 

However I think the return of the Launch would be a brilliant move.

#1: R* would get some fan hype for the return of another classic GTA SA vehicle.

#2: With it's return actually having a working gun & armor, it would likely draw more buyers than the typical boat.

 

Wouldn't it be fun as hell in the Contact Mission "Method Into Madness"......

To chase the NPC boats down the river in a Launch??? Would feel like an anti-drug cartel enforcer!

Or to shoot down low flying Hyrda & Savage trollers in Freeroam, that would be hilarious.

Maybe even a "Destroy Smugger's Boat" random event to go with it, like the car & plane versions that already exist.

Am I the only one who's mind is still boggled by the fact that we don't have a yacht that we can buy and live on yet? It doesn't have to be destructible either in case griefers won't leave you alone

 

Why hasn't sh*t like this been integrated into the game yet? We have billionaires running around with the same ass sh*t. I'd pay $20 bucks for a proper update. I'm getting sick of this free sh*t, I want to pay for future updates because maybe they'll actually give us some extraordinary stuff if they charge us for it. No more of this cookie cutter crap.

I somewhat have a feeling we get a megaexpensive yacht from solid gold, which will sink upon spawn.

Boats are all but useless in this game because of the layout of the map and the barren waterscape. I do think the yachts can be implemented though, but the only way to do it would be to make it, along with its occupants, completely immune to damage.

Or at least handle 20 missiles or so, it will be still interesting to sink such a vehicle, just not with a single shot.

I've never been so intrigued by the next DLC as I am at this moment, all due to the fact that we are now in week 4 of heist double payouts. What do R* have up their sleeves, must be massive and surely expensive. Can't wait to see, hope there is some news on it next week. Fingers crossed.

This. They did say the Editor is coming this summer, or at least they hope it comes this summer. There is not a whole lot of summer left. There has to be an announcement soon, if not, it doesn't look like their will be an announcement at all.

All I care about in these updates are the cars. I don't want mansions because I know that they'll all be rehashed static interiors. What's the point of a mansion when you can't enter it the way you can Franklin's or Michael's place. I don't want a static interior, I want one that's there that you can walk into without a cutscene or a loading screen.

I want another business themed update. Expensive cars but not too extravagant. Things with class. Things people won't rush to buy left and right just because it's new and flashy.

So boring and unimaginative. Hopefully R* actually give the community what we want and bring a gang/lowrider/biker update instead of more sh*t like this.
