Interesting.

This might have something to do with the new mission type as It's related to Lamar.

I went through some of the files yesterday, namely those of the heist dlc, and found a few placeholder audio files and possibly a setup photo related to Lamar and this "heist".

The audio files name is "mptdl_placeholder.awc" in the Heist Update's audio folder with the directory path being

/Grand Theft Auto V(aka where the .exe is)/update/x64/dlcpacks/mpheist/dlc.rpf/x64/audio/sfx/ dlc_mpheist(this is where the file is at. Just use OpenIV to access these files)

Because these placeholder audio files (which use robotic voice actors from some text-to-speech software), there's no way to tell exactly if this is supposed to be Lamar, but it definitely doesn't seem like something Agent 14(aka "Jeff") or Lester would say, and I doubt Gerald would make a job THIS audacious.

Anyways, it turns out that you're stealing something from the cops. Lamar tells you about the job over the phone, which triggers the "start heist" in the planning room. The photo shows a Police Riot (you know, the S.W.A.T./N.O.O.S.E. Stockade), since we know none of the other heists, cut content or already in-game, besides the Prison Break's Station setup have you steal something from the police, and from what we know about Lamar from Singleplayer, we know he probably isn't that subtle when it comes to doing a job.

 

I've got the setup photo somewhere on my hard-drive, I'll edit this post as soon as I find it. But as for the Lamar heist, I think it's more than likely that they started it near when the Heists Update trailer was announced.

 

EDIT: Alright, found it. I'm posting this in a screenshot format so you can also see the file's name and the location of the folder that houses it.

But now that we have heists and GTAonline for all consols and PC, I think R* might make a proper halloween update this year.

Keep in mind, Rockstar has a history of embarrassing hackers who delved into the game files and uncovered (supposed) future DLC. Remember what happened to the Zombie DLC?

Meh, at least for me personally video editor is nothing special at all, I've been using it and playing around with its features for about half an hour on first day I got the game (PC release date) but then it gets boring. Not much to be excited about, unless you're really really into that stuff.
