When will we hear something about this update from Rockstar?

The coding about the next update is published with ILL-Gotten Gains Part 2.

This means they've already thought about the next update when they released IGG 2.

The update should be in the middle of development or near the ending of the development.

I will assume that they will post information about the next update this week.

 

I think ppl don't relax from IGG p1 & p2. So, all news will be not so fast released. Not in July.

Try the week after. Rockstar wouldn't announce another update in the same month they released an update. Only exception was with IGG1 when they announced IGG2 on June 30th, but that was literally a day before July.

 

They should announce this during the last week of July, provided its coming in August.

Remember we waited 3 months for heist and IGG Part 1?

 

Or most of the winter of 2014/2015. Last Team Standing, X-mas, Heist. 3 months later IGG Pt 1 & Pt 2.

i really hope with this update they update the singleplayer vehicle spawns so that these vehicles + some of the ill gotten gains ones spawn in singleplayer (because that would be cool and a lot of these would fit in just on the streets)

So, my thoughts....

There will be three updates in 2015:
first is coming soon in August with Rockstar Editor for new gen consoles.
second is coming in autumn, as I said earlier, or any very big Update, like Heists...
third Update will come with Christmas Update as always...

It would be nice if the next DLC was about some good 'ol fashioned crime; low profile clothes, some old sedans, vans, maybe some rusty vehicles, SUVs. A revolver, a glock, a double barreled shotgun. You know, some not-so-over-the-top stuff.

 

No military sh*t that turns the game into Battlefield or douchebag clothes or supercars. I think we got more than enough of those.

I want more military stuff. A few new helicopters/VTOLs and planes wouldn't hurt. Some middle class cars would be great too, like big SUVs from the late 90s or mid-size sedans.

How many more versions of attack choppers and VTOL's are there even? Think we've got that covered already unless you want laser guns or something.

I always saw the Savage as a replacement for the Hunter. Only military vehicle I want now is a boat of some kind.

You forget the first Xmas update, even though it was just clothes and we didn't get to keep any. As well as the race creator addition. That reduces the time span between beach bum and high life.

 

And you couldn't really expect R* to release an update during the new releases. In fact those updates included new content, just not for the older consoles.

 

I think the delays in heists and PC really messed up their schedule, now things are going I hope they get back on an approx. monthly schedule. The lack of jobs (I'm a mission player) in recent updates have been disappointing.

There's coaxial rotor attack choppers, heavy transport choppers, tiltrotor VTOLs, etc. All I really want from that is a tiltrotor transport like a V-22, a super-heavy cargo helicopter bigger than the Cargobob and an attack chopper that two people can use: one flies, one uses the gun and rockets. If thats added, I'm good.

 

I did check BF4, not a fan. BF3 was better IMO.

I think that Ill Gotten Gains in its parts is considered a major release. The other one should be the "Low Life" DLC. Probably we'll get it on August, since July is almost over.

Yeah, it was a major DLC. We're definitely getting the Lowrider Themed update in August.
