NumaYay
This thread is about discussing 9/11 conspiracies. Didn't want to bump threads that are years old. Here you can post opinions, facts, etc relating the 911 attacks. In my opinion 9/11 didn't happen like the media told us. Please keep it polite, even if you disagree. GTA_stu
I somehow doubt that planes really were involved. Can hollow aluminium planes cut through steel? No. That's why they had sharks with laser beams attached to their heads, attached to the nose cones. Ezza.
Can hollow aluminium planes cut through steel? See, the thing here is, nothing has to cut or melt steel beams for the towers to collapse. The initial impact of the aircraft caused a major hole in the building, partially weakening the structural integrity of the building. However, the flames started by the aircraft's impact is what caused the building to collapse. The heat from the flames (fueled mainly by the aircraft's jet fuel) increased the heat on the metal beams, making them alarmingly more malleable (as with all metals, the hotter they become, the more malleable they end up being). Meaning that they'd begin to bend, which is where the structure begins to fall apart. It doesn't have to melt them whatsoever, it just has to increase them to a temperature in which the weight of the floors above simply can't be held, and the building falls apart. The rest is just the momentum and sheer force applied by everything above the impact site falling onto the structure below. And thus, they collapse. Edited July 8, 2015 by Ezza. Why does the conspiracy need to revolve around this point, anyway. If a conspiracy exists, then it probably pertains to the government either sending in their own disguised plane (unlikely) or coordinating the hijackings (reminds me of the FIB in V). I personally think there is a slim chance that the government was involved. Whatever outcome they wanted could have been achieved with a much less catastrophic manipulation. sivispacem
I was just about to post that. But without the broken link. It's been done to death a million times and anyone who continues to insist that any of the wildly outlandish and utterly incoherent conspiracy theories could be even vaguely viable is, quite frankly, ignorant on an indescribable level.
