Non functional roof lights

I was disappointed in the nonfunctional lights with the Brawler, just like with most vehicles, they're really just a waste of money!

 

Oh you want lights? Here you go, good luck putting bulbs in them!

Alright let's shut this sh*t up. The real Rally Fighter is RWD so it shouldn't be a surprise that its in-game counterpart is also RWD.

 

 

However the roof lights issue is a total cock up. They need to patch in for all cars with roof lights, bumper lights, etc. to work because other cars have this issue and it's dumb as sh*t.

Can you tone down your stupid for a second and ask yourself why R* would model a front differential on a vehicle they intend to only have be RWD? While you're at it, look up how many vehicles that are supposed to be 4WD glitches and only functioned as RWD after an update. There's quite a few.

Maybe it's because since I haven't had access to the game post-update, I haven't inspected the Brawler. When I get back to the game and check it out and see if you're right, then I'll concede.

The Car the Brawler is based off of, the Local Motors Rally Fighter, is RWD IRL, the damn thing is basically a street-legal BAJA 1000 Trophy Truck (all Trophy Trucks are mandated to be RWD) that you can buy. Still as cool as it is, I still sold it, lights don't work and the rat-loader of all things has better brakes then the Brawler.

Nobody is complaining about the money. It has nothing to do with money lost. The fact is, other recent update cars have working additional lights, they are not under the lighting mods either for those cars. Nobody has been "tricked", most people know by now that the lights don't work.

 

The additional lights on this are very prominent. They are huge. It makes no sense for them not to work. No, we do not need them to see at night. That is not what this is about either.

 

They should work. That's it.

My point is that if they're called lights they should illuminate. Those vehicles that do have working extra lights have serious illumination.

A real fan of the game doesn't just lay down and give in when something is not right. We give critize and give feedback. We, the players and off road lovers are saying these lights should work. Just like the Sandking should have been 4WD. They may change it. They may not. But we can still raise the issue.

Exactly. I think most people that play this game aren't real fans of the series and don't really care. Its just a game to them. To me its much more then that. Its a franchise I've been playing before y2k was a thing.

 

Now do I think lights on a bar is game breaking? Of course not BUT its a light, it should do that thing they're famous for. I added two light bars that don't do sh*t, and they should.

Thanks for all your comments , ive been playing since gta 1 so yeah if the stirling gt lights didnt work i wouldnt have assumed these ones would we are on next gen now so stuff like this should be working , no excuses.

Might very well just be a bug just as the 2wd. Back in the days there was bug with the large truck that became 2wd after a patch which was later restored back to 4wd. For the moment I'm keeping the car with the hope that these issues will be adressed.

Clearly you've never driven a merryweather Mesa or Bohdi with roof lights. When your headlights are out, they project much brighter and won't damage (that I know of). If you ever leave Los Santos, climb some hills, it's good to see trees and rocks in your way after you've smashed your headlights out.

 

It's quite simple but you're being a stubborn little baby about detail that actually improves your vision. Then again, you probably just drive your super cars and blow people up, and not explore the map. Typical casuals.

 

How hard is it to add dummies for bright lights on GTA V? Anyone know?

There is only a handful of cars that have roof lights being Trevor's truck and the burrito. Really R* should have the roof lights work, it adds to the car.
