FixingG00D Posted July 14, 2015 Share Posted July 14, 2015 So i reverted back to 350 and it really shows how bad this latest update was, but imo the first ill gotten gains started to introduce more judder too. 350 semeed very stable to me using nvidia v sync. This is likely a dumb question but i reverted my gtav.exe. launch.exe and update.rpf. If I left the updates dlc folder as the latest version, is it possible to use trainers to spawn these new ill-gotten gains vehicles? I'm guessing not due to the patch changes to the exe files. Is 350 considered the most optimum performance wise for GTA V pc so far? Not sure whether to locate day one steam patches but then i'm guessing some important bug fixes won't be in that version. I know this is not a solution but i can settle for this until hotfix is released and confirmed as working well, as i never launch online. From testing this a lot, there is no way at all to run gta v in steam with sc offline. It nearly always requires you to verify. Not sure how i'll stop it eventually auto updating but i guess i might need to keep copying these 3 files over before launching. Maybe it wont auto update if i'm lucky. I tried Windows 10 with the previous patch, everything fine, maybe a bit better. Now, using this crap 393.2, it's just unplayable. I simply delete this sh*t from my HDD, I'm tired of losing hours trying to get a decent performance. Each patch is a different thing, annoying as hell. They should give up on this f*cking platform, for real. They can't make sh*t. naxx Posted July 16, 2015 Share Posted July 16, 2015 WTF COCKstar!!!, On 350.2 everything was fine no fps drops/stuttering, just little texture pop-in.(Even that version i had is cracked) Now couple days ago I bought GTA and tried to play, there is massive fps drops, massive pop-in. I recorded a graph of my frame times, it spikes from 16-17ms to over 250ms every 3 seconds while standing still looking at a wall. ceaton88 Posted July 17, 2015 Share Posted July 17, 2015 Been reading some good reports on Windows 10 lately, and had enough of the stutter issue so last night I did a clean format/install of Build 10240 along with the .49 hotfix drivers. Thankfully my soundcard and MX518 are also supported so no issues there. Still need some more testing but, from what I've seen so far there is considerable less stutter, making the game playable at least! I've tweaked the desktop so it looks pretty much the same as 7, but with the added bonus of Windows 10 architecture for games. Their latest patch hardly did anything to help that cause and the game runs like ass now. There should probably be a free to mod sandbox mode or something to at least get some of the modders away from the main Online servers.
