polloxdabollox Posted July 10, 2015 Share Posted July 10, 2015 My game does not run to bad fps seems more stable than it was and I'm suffering only light stutter not the unplayable kind. I do have the ammo store lag thou for maybe 10 seconds it hits 2fps when I buy armour. I've found out thou if I enter the shop look around for 1min and then try to buy armour it's much better. ishraq22 Posted July 10, 2015 Share Posted July 10, 2015 I have found a way to reduce stuttering massively (on my system anyway) In NV control panel i changed vsync to half( im playing at very high/ultra everything no msaa @4140p 1440p dsr) as i was only getting a max of 57fps and an avg of 44fps(day time city and grassy areas) and had v sync turned on not half before this update.Changing it to half after this patch all but got rid of my stuttering. Man you're getting only 30 fps then i changed it to half from nvidia controll panel im getting 30 fps (as expected) and turned on vsync from game. What kind of solution is this? These support tickets are long winded and seem to be mostly ignored. I've seen the silly "solutions" they recommend even know they are slowly breaking their own game. They cant really ignore the issue if every customer is shouting loud about it in the public, not some buried ticket section. Hopefully they can work on a solution asap. Me. I don't experience extremely heavy stuttering on SP but I have a lot more stuttering than before, and Online after a while does stutter a lot. And I have also experienced the Ammunation lag. Like the 4 years of waiting for the game wasn't enough, now we have to wait periodicaly until they fix their stupid patches ... I mean how is this even possible ? They've added CONTENT, how can a couple of cars, guns and clothes cause these types of problems ? How is it possible, that people with computers worth 4000$ can't even play the game ? A lot of people bought the game for the full ridiculous price, smaller ammount bought it from a different retailer for a cheaper price and a bigger ammount pirated the crap out of it. Guess which group is playing it without ANY issues since April 14-th ? When we're at the updates, they should really reconsider them because if they think these updates where they add 2 cars, change a texture on a plane,boat and add some clothes, is breathaking, they are terribly wrong. Not even speaking about the massive performance decrease that broke the game for majority of the players, like hackers in Online are not enough. There's more than enough of the content, what the game lacks is the use of the potential. Why the hell are they not focusing on GTA Online as a whole ? Why is it focused on LS, not the entire map ? Is it so hard to change the stupid P2P system to dedicated servers ? I guess yeah cause $$$ are their top priority, why would they waste it on server rooms when players can connect to each other, doesn't matter that one player lives in central europe and one in Australia, put them all together and let them have a lag fest. Then throw in some performance issues and you have a broken game, totaly worth the 60$ pricetag. GTA Online will die completely in a couple of months if they don't start doing something, it's a complete downgrade from singleplayer, filled with hackers and retards. Add a server browser for christ sakes, let us filter the good people from bad, let us have servers that allow mods and the game notifies you just like GTA IV. It's just what I can think of right now. The game is amazing and I'm having a blast, don't get me wrong.. but I can't really enjoy it like I should with this ammount of unnaceptable issues. I know they are working on a fix for the fps drops, but who said it's not gonna be a month now till they release a hotfix ? Who said this fix will work and we won't be forced to wait another month or more ? I'm sick of their attitude. Release 10 patches a week I don't care, f*ck my bandwidth over I don't care either. Rockstar's development pipeline is a mess and one can only dream that one day they restructure their whole thing. Rockstar knows full well how laggy it is. They already acknowledged that it's broken and are going to be fixing it. They know way more about their own game that they made than we do. They didnt know , because they dont give a f*ck about that kind of things (framerate, graphical issues, performance) !! They just release the update and thats it. At least this seems to be a general, "almost everyone is having this issue" type thing and they're aware of this, instead of the usual: "This patch ruined performance for me!" I plan to never again have my modem connected when I run the launcher. I'll just reconnect the power to the modem after I'm in game. How could I not conclude that you were trolling with the above quote since R* had already released a statement saying there is a problem with the GAME, which makes it painfully obvious the problem is not with our PCs.
