I'm not very hopeful about their acknowledgement of the lag issues given they also acknowledged them for GTA IV and it was straight up abandoned.

Yesterday I reported fps improvement after the update. Today while playing, it's still the same, but the game stutters while high speed driving which never happened before. There's a huge lag for a second that drops from 60 and more fps down to 20-25 - so annoying it breaks the gameplay...

Also experienced that freeze in ammunation today. Seriously what the hell are they doing.

Not home right now, told my bro to verify the game files and test it again. Will edit this when done.

Yeah my avatar is often mistaken for their logo. They even contacted me if I can sell it to them after these last two updates !

Spend enough time playing with the latest patch, and I say for sure - They turned GTA V into GTA IV.

Still not as bad as IV but they're walking fast towards that. And they won't care.

Do a refund people :)

That was like mine yesterday in Michaels kitchen. On second glance, maybe not as severe as that but definite stutter. Hard to ignore.

I had wondered if there is more chance of them fixing this if there were some sort of retweet about this issue #gtavstutter @rockstar games, maybe linking to that video and saying i have this issue too.

These support tickets are long winded and seem to be mostly ignored. I've seen the silly "solutions" they recommend even know they are slowly breaking their own game. They cant really ignore the issue if every customer is shouting loud about it in the public, not some buried ticket section. Hopefully they can work on a solution asap.

I'm sure there is only so much time they will keep supporting this title before they move dev teams onto other projects. I hope this wont be what we end with for gta v pc.

I'm annoyed by how the game performed much better (for me) before these stupid ill gotten gains updates. I couldn't give less of a sh*t about that sort of thing myself.

New Scripthook available.

However, my game crashes after loading... GTAV.exe stopped working

Go to game folder > update and you will see a. File names "update.rpf" if thats not 357MB then thats whats causing this. Same happened to me. I fixed it by downloading the full update manually and pasted it. My update.rpf file was 340MB , it is supossed to be 357MB. Just download the update manually and paste it.

Thanks Mate, Can stop pulling my hair out now :)

This is BS! I run a i5 3470 and a GTX 970 Superclocked, And I use the default settings as always, It played fine before the update! Now it stutters when Using the mini gun or during any type of heavy activity! This is unacceptable! When a High End GPU that cost over $300 has problems with stutter! Then something is definitely wrong!

Decided to play today for the first time in weeks. D/l'ed the new updates. Went to Michael's house where I had 2 vehicles stored in his garage. One vehicle is fine. The other vehicle is disappeared, except only the 4 tires are there and I cannot walk in between the tires. It's like an invisible car, except I cannot enter it and drive it around. If I could, at least it would be funny. Instead, this game is just sad. That's not the only bug, I also got the massive frame rate drop while driving. I played a few minutes and quit, back on the shelf for another few months. What a waste of $60.

I'm having the same damn thing when the game loads so just went to settings and offed auto save, except for the rain since im using Enhanced Trainer with locked weather.

This is seriously starting to be a nightmare with this company, with every update they f*ck things up,24/7 DRM,stupid square shadow that they haven't fixed since launch, ffs.

It seems that GTA V is following in the footsteps of GTA III, GTA VC, GTA SA, and GTA IV. Progressively, it gets worse after each patch. Due to GTA Online progressively being updated, eventually the game will run like Assassin's Creed Unity.

Rockstar will not fix the game, however I can, like I did with most of the screw ups in the latest IV patches and TBOGT. :) I won't be able to fix everything, but I will be able to fix more than Rockstar can.

I need somebody to send me the day one patch files. From there, I will port the new content to the day one patch. Unfortunately, new DLC content doesn't work 100% the same on old patches, but I'll try and get it to work correctly so you have the new content, but the original optimized game.

Here is some more good news about this. Unlike GTA IV, this is doable. The reasons why going back to the day one patch go as followed.

1. I am able to easily add DLC content. Unlike GTA IV, it is easy as pie to add both Ill Gotten Gains content to the game.

2. The day one patch will still work in GTA Online.

-You won't be able to play with people on the unoptimized patch so no worries about conflict.

-The day one patch doesn't have any file checks. This means that the game won't report you to Rockstar for having modified files. This means that the update.rpf can be modified to include the new content from both updates.

My performance has degraded but I definitely don't get the super lag some people do on Ammunation or shooting guns. I do wonder if it has to do with some specific graphic setting, as I run the game on low-mediumish settings. Something like reflections or texture quality?

Just to add, i notice even more stutter in interiors. It was even worse inside the clothes shops and 24/7 shop. Bollocks.

Noticing something weird after the latest update. Before the update, minor problems that I didn't mind capped my frames at under 15 fps. After the update (and multiple cache verifications later) the only way for me to play the game is by going into Random Job Mode, then exiting the session to play Story Mode at random fps from 4-12. Very choppy framerates, and very backdoor way of enjoying Story Mode.

Ok, nevermind, I experienced the Ammunation lag but I may have also found out why it happens. It happens while the game tries to send/receive data from the R* servers. I approached the counter, pressed E and it didn't react immediately, but while it was trying to react, my framerate dropped down to 10 FPS. The same thing happens when there are network lag spikes and the game stutters for the rest of the session until you restart it, and sometimes cures itself on SP.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LB5ww5MPtQA

It may not be this, may have been a coincidence even though it's true V struggles with networking. There's more issues like the missing guns.

I am having the same problem. I played after installing the latest patch yesterday and it was perfect. It ran as smooth as I could ever ask for but today it is all over the place with lag and stuttering even though nothing has changed in 24 hours on my system. I'm pretty confused actually.

Not sure how this is an exaggeration:

That is literally 5 FPS.

LOL! Then there's something wrong with the system cuz I have a GT 610 and I get solid 20-30 inside ammu-nation.

I have SLI 970s and average 55-60 inside Ammu-nation...until I go to buy armor, and then it drops to 18 FPS. Just because you don't have the problem, doesn't mean people are exaggerating.

I have found a way to reduce stuttering massively (on my system anyway) In NV control panel i changed vsync to half( im playing at very high/ultra everything no msaa @4140p 1440p dsr) as i was only getting a max of 57fps and an avg of 44fps(day time city and grassy areas) and had v sync turned on not half before this update.Changing it to half after this patch all but got rid of my stuttering.
