It always changes back to 10, no matter if I set it to 10.1 or 11. I hope that they will change it sonn. What the f*ck, Rockstar? yep yep me too....they f*cked something up with latest patch....not only during chases but during normal playing too and for example when aiming a gun I get these weird stutters too.. I run a mix of very high and ultra settings. Postfx and reflections are both set on ultra before the update. Its not just shadow box, its more like detail box, thats why it can be seen in areas without shadows It affects parallax mapping, tessellation, shadows and more. Trash_Ok Posted July 8, 2015 Share Posted July 8, 2015 People stop messing with page file, it doesn't help at all and can only cause harm in your system. Just leave it to manage itself according to your ammount of RAM. If you think it helps, there's a thing called placebo. What really helps is if you clean your PC of all the mess, or try playing the game on a fresh windows install - that is gonna make a difference. Other than that, it's just specific hardware you guys have. If you stutter, then you have to find a good spot with the in-game settings and turn MSAA, Vsync off and Grass down. Yesterday I was on stabilized 60fps with drops to 50s (or lower in grassy areas) Now I almost never drop below 60 (only in grassy areas) and the fps even goes to 70s and 80s. I am playing with almost everything on Very High (turned down the settings that make no difference in visuals or are very intensive as Grass, advanced settings are all off even though I can set some a bit)Setup (brand new) : - GAINWARD GTX 750ti 2GB (Note - this is on 1680x1050 res.)- i5 4460 3,4Ghz - 8GB RAM - Game installed on a 7200rpm HDD- - Temps around 50 on both GPU and CPU while playingProof for those who find it hard to believe - a couple of screens and settings.http://imgur.com/a/4fcfC Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

For me disabling this,fix stuttering when i'm over my V-RAM,now i can play the game on high settings,,without issues or low memory warnings. Oh and yes i have 8 GB RAM. God damn it, Rockstar. K20 Posted July 8, 2015 Share Posted July 8, 2015 first FPS issue since i had the game. encountered a massive frame drop from 60+ to 2 when i entered ammunation. after about 30 seconds at 2 fps it went back up to 60+. dunno what that was all about. hopefully doesnt happen again. on the up side, the T20's spoiler..... Before this patch i was able to play on High-Very High settings with smooth 60 FPS. Now it's all messed up. Launched the game in Steam's offline mode, but the launcher says it can't access Rockstar's servers to authenticate it. I'm doing that now by changing the PC system date to April 19 or April 20 2015 before I start the game. Those dates are both before the massive 2nd patch that came out April 21. And I can play fine and use mods with ScriptHook, Lua plugin, etc without ever having to connect to the internet. But after you exit the game I'd strongly advise you change the PC date back to today and and reboot so you don't mess up anything in your PC functions. I know this is a controversial way to bypass the Social Club internet check. It's not against any rules. That's not the thing. It's because it could screw up things on your PC if you're not careful. So hope it works as well as it is for me. Of course if I want new mods that come out after ScriptHook is updated then I'll install the 393 patch. I'd rather wait until people update their mods accordingly for the new weapons and vehicles before downloading the patch.
