Couldn't relate to this more. Me and my buddy have recently bought ourselves some Blazers and are coming across new jumps and great picture spots. GTA hasn't hit it's boring point for me.

nobody said the map is not huge, but it doesn't take a year and 9 months to come across everything a couple times over. You can easily do the entire map in a couple of hours.

nobody said the map is not huge, but it doesn't take a year and 9 months to come across everything a couple times over. You can easily do the entire map in a couple of hours.

 

maybe your definition of "doing the whole map" is different to mine, before I start I mean no disrespect (people seem to misunderstand me a lot on here)

 

but I actively off road on a regular basis, I have done so since ps3 and im now on ps4, I play very often

 

there is a thread called "places you have never seen" I there are always new additions there...I OFTEN come across new hills and off roads spots

 

there is no way DJ V has seen everything a couple times over or 1000 times I assure you

 

he probs stays in the city 24 7 to make such a comment

 

what is he asking for? new map, that was never going to happen with this update

 

my point is we have a new off road vehicle and lots of land to explore, enjoy it

I think a map extension would be the number 1 way to extend GTAO's life

 

V's map is big but the countryside is just all out in the open. There's not much of a drive to explore because you can see it all from 5 miles away and it's just flat barren ground with some bare mountains. I almost wish they'd nearly copied RDR's map into V's countryside, it felt much more authentic.

Not for me. I only play the game when a new update rolls on because I'm bored of it. Off road driving can only last for so long.

While a whole new map is kinda pushing it, I would like to see some diverse weather. I play this game every day and I swear to God the last time I saw lightning or thunderstorm was on old gen. Some snow, sand storms, floods, high winds, stuff like that would be awesome. Maybe power outages. Riots? A little civil war? Ideas are limitless. Too bad I'm stuck on console....

Yeah, maybe some time, for example on the way into Paleto Bay there is an area of land in the bottom left of the sign which actuality isn't even in the game!

So then I asked Rockstar about map expansions...

Oh well...
