Anyone else's Crew Colour get changed?

I actual got an answer from Rockstar support immidietly, they might know about the problem and will hopefully have it fixed soon.

All Crew colors are broken at the moment, i have let Rockstar support know and they said they'll pass the info on to the correct department.

 

Crew colors will now be stuck on what ever you set them as before the update, for mine it is #010000 but if you try #000001 it will not process.

Well, good to know it's just the entire system breaking down rather than R* being smartasses who "fixes" something that isn't broken again.

The colors still stick to the car its just if you tried to apply the same color it would be different. I still have all the Crew colors on my cars that i made before the update.

I actually changed my crew colour to #000001 after the update today and it worked. That crew was not my active crew before the update though, so perhaps that has something to do with it.

 

I'll try now again with a different crew colour to see if it still works. I'll report back.

I have contacted Rockstar Support and made a ticket telling them the issue. About 99% of the codes i have on my thread now do not work.

I know, and I sure as hell hope they'll fix this quickly. But as I could use #000001 earlier today AFTER the update but can't now it makes me wonder if it's a server problem or something like that. A problem that may correct itself after some time.

I had a nice blueish green that Zanthera offered in his thread for someone looking for aquamarine - I used it because it was simillar to the green used by the Mercedes f1 team, I saw Nico Rosberg wearing a matt black helmet with NICO written in that green colour and decided I wanted it. Yesterday though I noticed the little square on your crew logo in jobs was purple. I did a race before and it is super saturated with a pink tinge, almost irridescent. It's good because you can't get pearlescent on crew on ps3, and this purple seems to come with one, but I want Mercedes green.

If this isn't fixed it will most definitely be the end of my thread until they decide to fix it. I just hope its not going to take until the next update to fix.

I wouldn't be surprised if they intentionally did all this.

I don't think it was intentional. It may have been an accident as a result of them trying to get rid of Pure Black Crew colors as they gave Patriot Tyre smoke. Instead of getting rid of just Pure Black, they got rid of all dark colors complelty, and now everyone who set a dark Crew color last night has it stuck at that color. I tried a few colors from my colors and none of them work. Even my really bright ones which means that they were not trying to make it so we could only have super bright colors. The settings for allowing Crew colors has been changed so much it isn't letting anything through. The only color I can get to save are codes made up of F's. This needs fixing quick because every Crews color has now been changed without us doing it.

They said that was accidently removed and that they would fix it. That was over a year ago and it still hasn't been fixed.

Lost my black crew colour, but got it back... Thought R* weren't going to patch non game effecting "glitches" & "exploits"... god modes, wall breaches, money glitches... fair enough, but the minor changes players have made to spice things up being patched just gives people the sh!ts...

 

Crew Colours; Big game changer that one...!

Painted Sovereigns: Wow... must kill players easier if they're coloured or put you in god mode or something...!

Yankton Plates: Retained what I have but can't set on new vehicles. Another "big game changer" hey...?

Emblem on any clothing: Would this really effect the game play having an emblem on a suit coat, vest, overcoat...?

Different or no hat or glasses with Bandana: Hmmm... must make you shoot better...!

If I can wear no shirt, why can't I wear no shoes...?

 

What it needs is another company to bring out a similar game. A company that is going to listen to what the gaming public wants & bust their butt to deliver what their customers are asking for... This is about the only way R* is going to get a rocket up their butt to get things right (my opinion of course...).

Little things? We are several people here, especially Zanthera, who have spend many hours finding good crew colours for people to use. You should check out this thread, and take a look at my sig.

 

99% of that work is ruined now untill this is fixed.

 

And you would rather have a f*cking roof on one single car?

Exactly what I did too.My color is also stuck a #010000, I wish I had set it to #210804 as that is the Hex for Worn Dark Red, but I stupidly set it to that. I never could have predicted that Rockstar would do this. They completly break the whole Crew color system and don't even acknowledge it or say they are gong to fix it. Whatever shred of respect I had for Rockstar is gone until they fix this. They will never "fix" something without breaking something else. Perhaps 1 or more colours are not being picked up. Suppose that's obvious. unless the results are random

I think it happened when they tried to fix the Pure Black Crew colors, instead of just getting rid of all the Blacks, they got rid of every Dark color.
