Anyone else's Crew Colour get changed?

Hi guys,

 

Our crew colour was set to pure black, but yesterday it has seemed to have changed to a red instead. Changing it back does not seem to work. I asked some people and they've said it has changed for them as well.

 

Has anyone else experienced this? I think it may only have changed for people who have a dark hex color (like pure black).

Yeah, mine changed to a strange bright orange colour. But my original crew colour wasn't pure black, it was dark blue.

Pure Black was patched to stop players from accessing Patriot tyre smoke after it was removed yesterday. 1,0,0 Near Pure Black works still as it is legitimate and does not allow the player to have Patriot tyre smoke. It will instead just be Black.

 

Quick note, you should look to see if there are any other threads first as we have discussed this many times before.

The same thing happened to the crew I'm in. We had a pretty nice green then it suddenly changed to a really bright purple.

Yeah, one of my crews changed from Deep Purple to Hot Pink... was able to change it back though

Confirmed my #000001 black being changed to a random orange.

 

I'm able to revert it within a minute though.

I don't think so, though I don't have time to check for now.

 

I base this assumption on the fact that you can manually change your crew color, without affecting the cars that you have already painted in the previous crew color.

 

 

Tire smoke might be affected though, as I recall a crew tire smoke changing when I switch active crew.

That's good to know... I'll be changing some of my red cars to something in between cabernet and wine red then. I still want to keep my pure black on some cars too.

Mine was a bright(ish) teal and it changed to bright purple, haven't checked my garage yet. Lot's of colours won't get accepted anymore and I used to be able to set it to almost any colour...

Just set the Red, Blue or Green to 1, and leave the rest at 0.

Just change it to #000001. You can't see the difference.

I have just tried entering a Crew color code that have used many times before and even one I used yesterday and it's saying they are not supported. This is a f*cking huge deal to me as I run the Crew color thread and now most of the codes that worked perfectly before this update no longer work.

 

Please let me know if you are experiencing this too.

+1 on broken codes!! just attempted a few codes that was workin BEFORE and its now not supported by R*.. BS! first they take away the pearl + crew now theyre slowly takin away th crew colors leavin us with basic paintjob provided by R* SMH

I have contacted Rockstar Support to let them know that social club refuses to process any Crew colors. Hopefully it's just maintinence or they made a mistake, but now codes that were working less than a day ago will now not go through.

It's not that, no codes will go through, so what ever you had your Crew color on before the update is what it is stuck on now. Mine is stuck at #010000 which is ironic since #000001 does not work. The entirety of social club is broken thanks to this update.
