Is anyone else hyped for this car tomorrow?

I generally love sports classics but I'm not sure about this one. The back end and the part where the roof and windshield meet both look goofy and exaggerated to me. But it could be a bad angle - need to see the thing driving around. I don't think it's going to surpass my love of the Casco or Stirling (or older classics like the Stinger and Stinger GT, for that matter).

It's because that roof design was.. designed to be tacked on to the roofless car variant. As you see, it looks rather chunky and weird.

I hope it's removable in game.

This is just another DLC of overpriced cars and overpriced clothes with no actual new gameplay.

 

In short, pretty crappy. Just designed to sell shark cards. R* throws a few insignificant crumbs at us and the community wets its pants in anticipation. Kind of sad.

If I do have room I may be tempted to make a 'modern' tribute to the classic. Something different and it may suit the car in some weird way. Which is highly unusual for any classic

I just hope it's as fast as the Stirling GT so we have some balance in the sports classics class. The way Rockstar ruined it with the Stirling GT makes them look pretty clueless.

 

GT isn't fast per se, its top speed is meh. But of course its handling and accelerations makes it dominate in a lot of sports classic races.

Eh. I can take it or leave it. My main problem with that IRL design isn't the shape (I actually like it), but the rather vulgar lip the roof forms with the windshield, and its lack of seamless-ness in general, which thankfully seems to have been eliminated by Rockstar's design.

Not really. It has really strange proportions. Some of its lines look exaggerated, like a Hot Wheels car. Hopefully it's just the angle of the screenshot that makes it look so disproportionate.

I'm only excited for the Knuckledusters and the Marksman Pistol, mainly because I really never use guns in deathmatches, I take the challenge and use melee weapons, mainly the bat, knock them out, then a clean blow to the skull. The Knuckledusters will make the crunch feel better.

Depends what modifications it can have, I like to have some bearing on how my cars look besides just paint, Also the engine note would have to be pretty beefy as I love my sports classics.

I'm sick of the shiny chrome accented 50's 60's classics they keep giving us. I want some 70's and 80's classics. An Infernus or Cheetah Classic. I feel the decision makers for this game are a bunch of assholes. Their ideas suck.

Personally, I think the '50s models did it tastefully. By the mid to late '60s it started to get out of hand, because they just kept adding and stacking chrome where it didn't need being. Thankfully, nowadays chrome is a relic of the past, though GTA:O community is desperately trying to revive it for modern cars

The chrome bumper bits on the side look like fingers holding a mouth open...
