ChiroVette
Okay, I have both PC versions of this game, the regular one and the Windows 8 version, with the various upgrades in features. I must say that there are a lot of things to love about the new app version, but because it is meant as a touch screen game, even though it has direct controller support for my 360 controller, I am having all kinds of problems with the bicycle, I can't seem to get the game to use the old bicycle control scheme, which is one of the bumpers for Bunny hopping and A for acceleration and pedaling faster. The nearest I can figure out, this game seems to require leaning forward on the analog stick or something less than intuitive to pedal and change pedaling speeds. A now seems to be the bunny hop button. Anyway, the problem is that with this configuration, my favorite vehicles to use in San Andreas, which are the bicycles, are really tough to get to do what I want them to do. I had a helluva time beating the three Chilliad Challenges, which are normally not a problem, and I don't even want to tell you how long it took me to beat the BMX Challenge in Glenn Park. That one checkpoint I always save for last where you have to ride up the wooden ramps and then bunny hop onto the top ledge (the checkpoint nearest the park entrance) took me a great many hours before I was able to finally get. Anyway, is there some way to make the bicycles easier to manage with the Windows 8 version of the game? I gave up on the regular PC version on my new laptop because of unexplained freezes, so am finishing the game on the Windows 8 version.
