Scipizoa Posted July 7, 2015 Share Posted July 7, 2015 strange, i don't see an errorcodes folder in C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto V\update, all i see is an x64 folder and update rpf is there a way to bypass this and play gta?? Delete "errorcodes" folder from your gamedir (C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto V\update\x64\data). Then,unplug your connection,and launch the game. strigoi1958 Posted July 7, 2015 Share Posted July 7, 2015 I do not know if I have fixed it or whether R* did something but I copied the american.txt file of 24k and renamed it america.txt.part and pasted it back in the folder... my download speed jumped to 1mb from 112k and new french and chinese txt files have appeared.... this may just be coincidence Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

(Source: some other places on the intraweb, so could be inaccurate) My game will not launch now:( Keeps crashing with the gta 5 pc exited unexpectedly screen:( Mine did this too (I got the "GTA V Stopped Working") and was about to smash something until I completely exited the game's launcher and process, waited approximately 7 seconds and started it again.
