Snowman_GTA Posted July 7, 2015 Share Posted July 7, 2015 Warner Bros. May Be Working on a New Superman Game Warner Bros. is well known for publishing the successful Batman: Arkham game series. Due to a new leak, it looks like Warner Bros. Montreal, the same team that developed Origins, may be working on a new open-world superhero game. This new game, however, appears to focus on Superman instead of Batman. Last week, WB games Montreal made a listing of new job openings. Among these listings, they explained that they are working on “an open world action game”. Since this listing was describing jobs for a completely new IP, it is safe to assume it is not for another Batman game. Today, a photo and video of the new project was leaked. The screenshot clearly shows that Superman will be a character in the game. It also looks like there will be multiple different skins to choose from. Since the description of the skin lists abilities, each skin likely comes equipped with different powers. Looks like the comic sans-ish looking font used in the Deadpool game. I am not confident in its authenticity. Seriously, this has the potential to be even better than Batman Arkham Knight and Asylum. Just flying around everywhere doing whatever and using your powers..........hmmm... I'm not saying it should be a reskin, we've got enough of those already (Hardline). I swear if they come somewhat close to giving that Superman feel, I'll jizz. I love the stories told in the Arkham games, they could do something similar with Superman as well. But I don't feel like they really have to. I hope it's a free roaming Superman game though. I had a lot of fun playing Superman Returns on the PS2 back in the day. Too bad it was never released for the PC. J-B Posted July 10, 2015 Share Posted July 10, 2015 Just establish that his power levels aren't ridiculously high exactly like the animated series did. On top of that set up the right scenarios for him to be vulnerable. ie; Darkseid or Brainiac invasion. It's really not a hard concept to imagine.
