Is it just me or rebreather now cost 5k?

As above, just now went to ammunition to restock my rebreather.

 

To my surprise, I saw a 5k price tag on it. I thought it is some random rebought item bug, so I equip the rebreather and try purchase again, still cost me 5k per rebreather.

 

I tried joining new session, and in other session it also 5k.

 

Is it only happen to me or some R*'s new logic to prevent us from staying too long in water?

I think they've always been $5K, which I agree, it's BS.

 

There was a glitch for me about one-two weeks ago and they were free. I also saw someone on the forum say the same thing. I stocked up, but was having the "SAVING FAILED" error a lot of us PSN users were having. I eventually lost connection and the game didn't save, so I lost the 19 "free" rebreathers. They were back to $5K when I was able to get online.

Wow, really to my surprise that the "Free" I used all this while is actually a glitch...

 

All this while I being using rebreather to hide in water to escape cops, but I guess Lester's call will be more economic from now on.

When you go underwater, the more rebreathers the longer you have air capacity. Just like the end of the humane labs raid (ground team )

They're essentially useless. Nothing is in the water you need to do and Humane Lab finally gives you enough everytime to get out in 1.5 of the 3 they give you even f you're in the combat armor. If you need more than the 3, something's wrong

protip : take your hydra/gold luxor (subtle brag) and nose dive deep in! let the mass sink in and get out. now you have ~21 minutes. your welcome

Unless you're wearing heavy armor.

No sprinting thus no swimming fast either.

You're looking at using at least 2 on an error free escape.

Agree with you that 3+ means you couldn't locate escape tunnel after the dive.

That's what I thought too, but after creating this thread, then only I realise we being "glitching" so far.

I'm on PS3 and it's always charged me money for them.

 

I've had a bug/glitch since heist release that gave me money in heist set ups, even if I'm hosting. I thought it was completely normal until it stopped happening after I made a new character and did a heist on it a few weeks ago. I did some research and found out I wasn't actually meant to be getting that money.

 

A friend of mine apparently doesn't get charged for initial heist costs. I have no proof of it. He could be lying for reasons but it can also be true.

Some kind of unrelated update.

 

Seems like R* decide to fix the overpriced Chrome RIM instead of FREE issue and Elegy RH8 is now FREE as of other plaform. I'm on PC by the way.

 

Lastly no more 70k for a Chrome RIM... I guess I can use the money saved to get some rebreather, LOL...
