Rockstar yelled at him and told him to get it back, the whereabouts of Shawn's are currently unknown. "good folks at Rockstar Games" that's kind of a no brainer, he's not allowed to announce anything that's not in his rights. otherwise he may meet the same fate as Dan, with the whipping of barb wires and what not. I'm waiting also to see what Steven Ogg says. And the response to the question about the DLC doesn't necessarily have to be a 'hint', it actually seems like a logical, completely normal answer akin to 'How the f*ck should I know, you'll have to ask the developers' What's so exciting about that? If Franklin's voice actor were to say something right now, people would automatically think it relates to the DLC. By the tone of his answers about Ned and Shawn it seemed like they haven't worked on DLC and that they try to stay in touch through long distance. Now these answers can be completely made up and Steven is just being professional and trying not to give anything away unlike the other 2, but it truly sounded as if these guys haven't worked together since GTA V. We know Steven did mo cap for Heist's and kept it a secret, but he also did that alone without the other 2 so there is a chance that we may be seeing a Franklin only DLC as we have only seen him with a mo cap suit on. Instead, he also posts a GTA V picture. And this is AFTER Shawn Fonteno, or however the f*ck you spell his name, posts multiple things relating to GTA V/Rockstar, including a mo-cap suit. Quit complaining about something that's obviously a legitimate discussion point. No need to be pessimistic for the sake of being pessimistic. Just don't take part in the discussion. Easy. John The Grudge Posted July 8, 2015 Share Posted July 8, 2015 It looks like he's simply promoting the game. It doesn't look like a hint at dlc in my opinion. It's fairly common for actors to promote their work long after it's release with on set photos and what not. I've seen nothing from any GTA V cast member that looks like anything more than promotion. Not only is it not their job to disclose ongoing projects but it would be grossly inappropriate for them to do so. If they are currently working with Rockstar then they've almost certainly signed non-disclosure agreements. I think they will release dlc just because it makes sense to me from a business point of view. If Ogg was able to keep his mocap work for Heists secret then he is also doing the same for Story DLC as he is under an NDA with Rockstar so of course he can't reveal anything in an interview for goodness sakes! Shawn Fonteno has always been the outspoken big mouth of the three so that alone also doesn't prove he is the only one of the trio working on the DLC! As far as that NedLukeOfficial comment goes - total BS. As if Ned would hop on the forums instead of Twitter or Facebook to clarify the petty controversy behind the potential DLC. Notice how I said "potential"? Well, that's because I'm still not entirely sure whether or not the story DLC even exists. It could be vaporware for all we know. The strongest hint of recent confirmation was Fonteno's motion capture suit on Instagram. But don't you worry guys, we can still snack on those minuscule GTA Online updates! Overpriced cars - check. Overpriced hipster clothing - check. A casino that's still not open and no new houses - double check! Everything there is to embody a non-expanding multiplayer experience that Rockstar continues to baby. Heists were great, don't get me wrong, but even that took far too long to release. I hope the story DLC still holds appeal if it does get eventually announced, because the only thing I can see justifying the wait is a new map expansion.
