I have completed all the other ones many times and waited many in game days to no avail. Anyone know how to fix this. Cutter De Blanc Posted July 7, 2015 Share Posted July 7, 2015 (edited) Yup. I've been going back and forth with Rockstar support for the last 7 months trying to get this issue resolved. They keep saying things like they're "working on it" and "investigating it." It appears to be caused by the Festive Surprise update, as the bug did not exist before that. You sure he didn't text though? I got the text but no Street Race. Spuds725 Posted July 7, 2015 Share Posted July 7, 2015 @ OP-- just so it is in the thread-- can you tell us what you are playing on-- Which console or on PC? I would advise you to retry the previous race-- make sure you win it without using the RETRY-- if you lose, I want you to reload the game rather than hit the retry button. I am not sure if it was related to this-- but in my 100% playthrough-- the Vespucci canal race on motorcycles would not register as completed for me on the Social club website if I used the retry after losing--- I kept on wrecking on this race. I was only able to get it to register by reloading my save file and then completing the race and winning without using the retry. So what I did was upgrade/mod my bike-- then drove to the race-- I did a quick save before I started it next to where you start the race... and used this to go back to when I lost-- it finally registered after I won. Craigsters Posted July 7, 2015 Share Posted July 7, 2015 (edited) When Hao wouldn't text me for the airport race I went back to the flag marker on the map and did the checkered flag marker with the green check mark on it and it for $450 and then Hao texted me for the airport race the next day, I'm on Steam PC it was the race you qualify for to get the rest that I did for $450 Edited July 7, 2015 by Craigsters "You don't understand! Johan Posted July 8, 2015 Share Posted July 8, 2015 Last time I tried the races (on PC) he wasn't texting me at all which was the first time I've ever experienced it in my 10+ playthroughs of the game. I was able to fix it though by continuously saving my game until morning, quick saved on a different slot and switched to Online for about 5 minutes and then switched back to Franklin using the character wheel. I would then drive around South East from Franklin's 2nd house and coincidentally I received his next text after a couple of minutes, if it didn't work then I would re-do the previous steps again and again until he did. (He didn't text me right away on the last 3 races, and the steps I did above worked for all 3 and I was able to complete them all) Of course it's just random though, I most likely got lucky.. worth a shot dude!
