Who here DOESN'T hunt Bounties?

Bounty's are pitiful as most are just a few thousand. Even when I have one myself I don't hide & look for conflict as it's not worth the effort even for the top prize of $9000. Only time I hunt them now are when they are part of the daily's when I have no choice.

Like Zoolock noted (any relation to Jean-Michel Jarre's "Zoolook"?) :) basically, the only time I bother is when it's required for a Daily Objective.

Bounty hunting=Broke noobs.

And if I have a Bounty doesn't matter to me always because I play invite only.

If it doesn't make me 20k or better I don't do it in GA online.

Unless I just like it.

I have chased bounties and always been fascinated at the tactics players use to avoid being de-bountiefied.

1. Run to the hills (Iron Maiden aside) Chiiliad is the bolt hole for a lot of runners , gives the option of a quick escape via the ski lift tower.

2. Maze tower. Place prox traps on heli pad and fight it out from concrete bunker , not great if jets show up.

3. Riding the rails. Run to the power plant and jump on a flatbed , it's very entertaining if enough players are eager to de-bountisize you.

4. Kamikaze . I'll get them before they get me , a dodgy tactic as players anticipate your approach by going off radar and ambush you mid death run.

5. They'll never find me here. A hard place to to assault is the roof of the Pacific Standard bank , proximity all ladder access to roof then sweat it out , you can also sticky the streets from above , pretty secure.

6. Going underground. One of the best bolt holes for naughty ninja's is the tunnel system , mine tunnel in both directions and get to the gantry for a wide field of fire , I've had a $1000 bounty on me and been hounded by various die hard bounty seekers for the entire time of my bounty and beyond ...boom boom out go their lights .

7. Don't get a bounty.

I like bounties but the coconut gets stuck in my teeth.

I only do it if my objective calls for it or the person strolls in front of me while strolling through the city.

Bounty hunting gives a little money, and is something to do. Why wouldn't you?

9/10 bounties I go past are getting blasted, and if they don't like it, well the invite only session's that way.

Bounties are always second on my priority list right behind other aircraft.

Theres not much going on, on LG these days so it gives me something to do.

Plus killing bounties has its benefits. You get a lil extra rp(closing in on rank 600, so Ill take it).

You supposedly can give away the money to help with bs points which I usually do.

And its great to blow up players in their cars without getting a bs message.

And I'm not fond of seeing a big, red skull on my minimap.

The only bounties I got were casualties of trying to unlock the pistol and sniper tattoos

I think dog the bounty hunter when I think bounties. And my mullet is much better than his

For the people claiming it's cash. They aren't worth the money. You have to be lucky enough to hit several deccent sized bounties in quick sussession to make anything from them.

If the person you are hunting is even half decent you are going to waste a LOT of time trying to get them and might even have to drop your own cash on rockets or stickies.

I only go for a bounty for a few minutes and if I don't catch them I ditch it. I rarely give full chase. If it's on foot you can fight it out but in a car it can stretch out for ages and cost you a fortune.

I'll ignore a bounty if I've already got something to do - they really aren't worth the money when a good number of them will immediately leave the server as soon as you engage them.

Otherwise, it's something to do. Something to hunt with an actual incentive other than just to be a cock.

Not really since I already since I already have a lot of money and I'm not really gonna go out of my way for a couple grand. I never really understood why you set bounties. Let's say you place a $10k bounty on someone, they get killed just for the bounty because someone wanted it. What good does that do you? Woo, you spent money on someone to die one. What good did that do for you?

I've actually thought of this a bit. When you place a bounty on someone you really want them DEAD and out of your face. But they're still in the lobby still causing mayhem or bothering you.

I think they should change surviving a bounty to 15 minutes, but have it to where if they get killed they really did get killed and pretty much out of the way. And the way that would work is they get kicked into a different lobby and can't return. I think that would be pretty neat. Could this feature go wrong and people abuse it? Of course. I just think it's a cool idea.

Me.

I could give two sh*ts about chasing bounties. My GTA finances are excellent, the invite lobby I am in is chill - why would I go hop into the overwrought and at times, egotistical chaos of free roam?

Of course I'm the type that goes into survivals with no body armors, low on ammo and picks ammo up as I go. No need to arm to the teeth since I don't do PVP.

I don't hunt, but i like hiding in places no one knows how to get to with one. Quite humorous to see three or more people create a warzone on the map.

I like using them for bait. Come on in to my kill zone. Most of the time people give up before they can collect. I'll actively steal npc cars just to get a bounty on me when I get bored.

TBH bounties are the only players I do hunt..

I have a character that's a bounty hunter and only makes money in that way. And business has been good.

PS.. and id prefer to be the hunter than one that hides for 45 minutes just to make $9k..

Bounties are fun and easy. Can be an adventure hunting other players. Being the hunted is good too.

Only grasping peasants let profitability dictate their playstyle.

If they're relatively close by, I might hunt them down. I like the thrill of the chase and the cash incentive is a big plus.

Sounds like you just suck at bounty hunting..
