Who here DOESN'T hunt Bounties?

I got my bounty hunter tattoo for my 1st character and I stopped hunting them.

maybe a tank spree or two, I would hunt bounties if we could have epic mullets

Naw, I don't bother with bounties. I'm not a hunter killer type and I don't need the money. So, chasing bounties is often just a distraction.

 

That said, when I'm in Paleto Bay and I have a bounty on me, I've been known to wait for someone to come up to me and either duck into Beekers, go in my house or hop lobbies. It's great fun to make the bounty chasers come all the way up to try to get me, then they get denied.

 

Or, if I'm in the city and a jet griefer is after my bounty I make sure I have my adder and then get out and stand next to it while he takes his run. Boom. Bounty collection is offset by one cooked Adder and a bad sport point.

 

Best one we used to do was we'd put bounties on each other, taunt a jet griefer to come after us and we'd line up 5 or 6 supercars. Then we'd all go into passive (those without the bounty) and the pilot would get tagged for nuking a half dozen supercars. It's a great way to sucker in the hyperagressive jet pilots.

Normally I don't hunt bounties. Yesterday there was 9000 bounty on my head, another bounty guy was trying to get close to me unnoticed. I was hiding till he got close enough and I shot at him. He did the same and we killed each other at the same moment. He earned 9000 for killing me, I earned 6000 for killing him. Almost win-win situation

I will go out of my way to claim them. Can make some decent pocket change in a busy session but it's not about the money

why do childrten play hide and go seek of chasing, because it's simple and fun. I will hunt down bounties in my area unless they are in a wall breach, well unless I know the wall breach then I will get into it in passive and kill or fire a rocket at them from the right angle (Del Pierro tunnel)

I only do it if it's part of my objectives, and they're nearby. I don't need to waste resources on them.

 

My definition of fun is kinda like Follow The Leader.

Now, I never do it. Not even for objectives. If I have to kill someone, it's because my friend needs help getting away. Distract and deflect, you know.

got the tattoo and stopped back in 2013. i find NPC bounties an irritation when i get them so wouldn't want to bug someone else for nicking a car off the street, nor do i want to do another players dirty work for GTA$1-9k. bounties would be worth the effort if they paid better, not even Xmas 2013 mod rates.... just better.

I'm not so bothered about claiming the bounty for myself, but rather being in the thick of the action when the other players come sniffing. I likes da ruckus, or I do, until I get killed more than i'd like and then I hightail it outta there because i'm a big fat pansy with a dick that don't work and no spine.

 

I've put myself down a lot in this post, but it's OK because i'm British and we have crappy weather which makes us an eccentric bunch of yahoos prone to the odd lashing of self deprecating humour.

I always go for hunting if the target has a bounty, but after claiming I just go mind my own business, no need for griefing.

I don't chase some random guy (who probably received the bounty from an NPC) for 5 minutes to get 9k at best.

I don't do it because it requires more effort than what I might get.

 

Last time I had 1k bounty I noticed some loser that wanted to kill me. So ok I got on highway called Lester to put me off the radar then picked up Hydra, then some other loser (or maybe the same, can't remember) got jet too and then I started circling over San Andreas for good 5 minutes until he lost connection.

 

He could've went on Methed Up mission or whatever it was called from Gerald but nope.

 

That's how I troll those idiots. They can put sticky bomb on spawn point out of LS Customs or barge into clothing shop and shoot you in the face while you can't draw weapons out or they can just run you over or drive-by from Kuruma while Lester the useless idiot takes ages to pick up his cellphone. I got killed once because he took 40 seconds to get up his ass to the phone. When I respawned he picked it up immediately. f*cking jerk.

 

No I don't hunt bounties. If I die from bounty target then it will already take more effort then what's it worth and if that wanted player is like me then he will troll those hunters by going off the radar, picking up tank or Hydra.

I don't hunt them but if the player is very close I may try. If I collect the bounty I give it to them.

But when you say they are fun to watch, you mean their dot on the mini map, right? And when you say you taunt every player in the lobby, do you really mean the one or two who are mildly interested, in the bounty, and the leave when the see you are stuck to the ocean floor?

I don't hunt for Bounties unless the game tells me otherwise for Daily Objectives.
