Who here DOESN'T hunt Bounties?

Am I one of the few that doesn't blink an eyelid at Bounties?

I haven't been playing GTA:O for long, approx. 2 months, and I've always wondered what the strange obsession is with hunting down Bounties?

Everytime I take a look at the map I see a Bounty being chased down by 3+ people like flies on sh*t!

The payout isn't rewarding whatsoever; and half the time you'd probably waste the reward on stickies, RPG's and/or Insurance costs before you've even received the said reward; or worse case scenario - you may not even be the one that kills the bouny... so why spend 5-10 minutes on a wild goose chase across the map?

I don't get it.

It's fun. I do it just for the hunt.

I even made it a rule that if the person is below rank 100 and the bounty is for 5000 or less I'll give them the money.

I hunt some bounties sometimes, if I get the daily objective for it.

$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

This.

And to say its not rewarding, pffft? Financially you can make a few $$'s and enjoyable at the same time.

As a side note, I go round car parks and steal cars LOOKING to get a bounty, I enjoy getting folk hunting me, only to lure them into some form of trap! (again enjoyable).

It's fun.

Using the AP pistol basically makes it free money.

Normally the cost is limited to $1000 ($500 to go off-radar + $500 for the sticky bomb) so it's easy money.

My car is very low-profile and combine that with off-radar and it's almost a sure kill.

Sometimes it's very hard to kill the bounty because a lot of people are hunting it, or the bounty has chosen an easy-to-defend spot high up so it can only be reached on-foot but that only adds to the challenge..

Arrows to Athens

It gives you something at least and I just don't like seeing a big red skull on my radar.

I used to if they were close, but once I unlocked the tattoo I stopped unless it's a daily objective.

It's called fun/sport.

I don't get why people play a sandbox game, yet don't do anything unless it makes them enough money.

What if it is a $1000 bounty :) I get these more often than not.

I hunt irl.

Chasing Bounties down and killing them is my video game equivalent.

I always give the money away to the person if they are under Lvl 50 or another low rank in the sesh.

I also set Bounties on my friends as a joke, lobby hop and join one of them and drop a Bounty on them and leave.

Not much anymore. After a few times chasing someone for 30 minutes for 1K. Meh. And I think you have to pay for PVs even if bounty is inside nowadays?

It's a bitch proof way of killing someone. They can only complain about the way they got killed and never ask the stupid question about why they were shot at in GTA ONLINE.

I do like it if my friends get bounties so I can try at mess with whoever is hunting them down.

When the game first came out I use to go crazy for them bounties but now I don't care. Its funny when people have bounties, they act like that fat kid at lunch that has oreos. They avoid all eye contact with everyone and hide. Great now I want oreos.

It's something to do. I like the thrill of the chase.

Not everything in this game has to be about maximum payout for time invested - sometimes it's just about overcoming challenges for fun.

If they are in the area, yeah but won't go out of my way to hunt them down.

I prefer having the bounty and having people chase me though.

I don't do bounties anymore but what is fun is putting a $9k bounty on a friend then defending them from all the random hunters. We used to do that pretty much any time a buddy would go afk, it's a great waiting game.

I won't get outta bed for bounties less than $5000 and within resonable distance.

I don't. it's too much trouble and I don't kill people unless they are coming for me.

I only go for bounties when they are like a couple blocks down, or if I am in a buzzard.

Why do anything in this game? Uhm, I dunno, I guess people like doing stuff,... *facepalm*

Come to think of it, I've never hunted a bounty ever since I started playing GTA Online on next-gen. Probably.

Only did it once for a Daily. Flying a Buzzard to a low level who was stuck on a mountain. You can imagine how bad I am in PvP.

I personally hunt them for the fun of it,and its a good way of making cash on the side so you don't have to worry about ammo expenses etc.

I mean, its more fun to chase some down and make 9K in 5 min than entrust a randy on a setup.Whenever I have a bounty,I get a Hydra and land on a high building you can't get on foot. Then I wait for everyone to crawl towards me :p.

I do it for the fun of it really. I don't regularly hunt bounties but I do from time to time. Like special crate drops, I've collected all the valuable rewards from it so there's no point in going after it. But I still go after crate drops because it's fun. Bounties work in the same manner. I've already got the tattoo (that I'll never buy) and the award so there really isn't a justifiable reason to go after them. I just like hunting bounties.
