I'd buy one of I was in-game skint. I've discussed it with friends before now and have said as much. Your problem isn't the purchase of a cash card. Your problem is caring what other people think about it, whether that's due to you feeling the need to flaunt it or feeling the need to apologise for it. Only you know the real truth about that though, and it's irrelevant to everyone else.

I mean, Rockstar has given us a sh*tton of FREE content, content that any other company would make you pay for. I wouldn't call them greedy, not a single bit.

 

I have bought like 2 shark cards, I got about 1.7m. I would have bought 2.5m instead, but sh*t happened and I couldn't get as much money as I wanted into my PSN account.

And hey, I had a lot of fun as well in the game, I've been playing since christmas, the same year it came out and I'm not bored yet. There's still a lot of free DLC's to enjoy.

Yeah I've bought 100 dollars worth of cash cards in the early days.. if you have time though your better off grinding missions to gain money, which gets boring but its worth it. I'd rather support this game then any other game. So I don't feel it was a rip off either way.

2 years, all that money and the servers are still outdated peer to peer ones? Yeah rockstar cares about the state of online all whilst removing interiors (police station), harmless glitches and more.

 

Most of those updates are removed content, go in to the games files now there is already stuff for the Progen T20, hell there are even models for customization options on the Tampa.

 

Go back and watch the old trailers, and the in-game TV shows.

 

We waited 2 years for the hydra and savage and there is still more they can add. Rust free voodoo would be ultra easy to make, there is also an attack helicopter that isnt in the game and there are multiple guns with files in the game too that are likely going to be coming in updates.

 

They're a multi-million dollar western company, not a person with feeling that needs to be donated too lmao

I couldn't handle having little money in my pocket compared to what I read and hear on the daily. It just...killed me (in a sense of poverty.)

I promised myself since Day 1 of KK's that I wouldn't support R*'s greed; no matter how desperate. IGP's (In game purchases) were bad since day one unless done right. GTAO is no exception.

 

And I did.

 

Here's the thing: Am I supposed to feel this way? Guilty that I am just pushing a company's greed one step further? Or happy now I'm a little less broke.

 

Also, I know this is a game, and I shouldn't take this serious, but this is my money invested in virtual money for what? A sense of accomplishment? Anyways, have you people supported KK's? Assuming that most of them are removed content is funny when half of the stuff gets added in previous updates at least in bits and pieces and was never there at launch. Another thing you're assuming is that content is removed just to feed us later rather than scrapped and changed or picked up later or any other possibility. And assuming that all harmless glitches aren't related to other things and are simply just being taken away. Yeah, we all thought dead bodies in your car would be harmless too, explain that one.

 

Also lol at waiting two years for the hydra and savage. I don't think anyone waited for those except for maybe really wanting or hoping for something like that, which doesn't mean sh*t really.

Shark cards keep the update content free, and they're not required in any way, so I have no issue with them, things like them are a fact of life for online games that don't have subscription fees. Despite what a bunch of idiots who've mistaken cynicism for intelligence say they are good and support Rockstar in a way that keeps them from having to attach subscriptions to the game or fees to the updates.

It doesn't matter how long you want something, you weren't "waiting for it" you were hoping for it. This isn't heists. There was never a hydra promised or hinted at by them or anything. Sure you can say you were waiting, but that typically suggests that there was some hint or promise of it leading to that, which there was none. And it's laughable. Yeah, I'm "waiting for" jetpacks and anal probes too. I'll just complain about waiting for something so long that's never promised.

 

And I'm not treating them like an indie game team. How many players are on this game? How many servers would they need? How much do servers cost? How much of their revenue was used to recoup costs of making the game? How much of it is spent on developing more content for the game? How much of it is used to fund other things under the Take Two umbrella? How much of it is kept as profit? Because you know this is not an NPO, they're in it for profit, like a business,not just to put every penny back into it. So just between those things, do you have any idea what the costs are? How much of it is profit? How much of it is necessary as it is? How much would be needed for servers and everything else? How much do they use on servers to begin with? You have no idea. Welcome to for profit businesses. You seem to not understand any of this. I don't know the costs of any of this sh*t so I don't act like I do, but I know it's not like they're just rolling in money and all of this upkeep so far has been free for them or anything. There are costs associated with all of this, and everything you want them to do, and you have no idea what those costs are.

I bought a shark card once, when I started a new character on ps3 after already playing on 360 for 6 mos.

I only bought it so I could buy high end apt and an adder so I could dupe the sh!t out of it to be stupid rich like I already was on 360..

I think its way better than paid map packs and DLCs in other games that just split players up who don't drop another 20 bucks as soon as a dlc comes out.

I've bought 4 copies of the game so far.. That's how great it is!!

Kk=kesh kurds, cash cards, shark cards, free dlc updates for us thanks to the ones that buy them.

 

I will never buy them, because if onlines not working, they pull the project all together, lizard squad dds, etc, if onlines gone then you just threw $$$ away (I learned this from being part of PLAYSTATION HOME) so i will never spend real cash on something i cant enjoy down the road.
