Ok I've noticed this since the launch of new gen but really it hasn't been fixed yet? Weapons still do not have their equipped silencers present whenever you're in a car.. Why? Was this a mistake that has been carelessly ignored for damn near 8 months now or was there a solid reason why silencers are removed in vehicles but are present outside of a vehicle (completely stupid) and this is just now the norm?

I'm not as in touch with the game as I used to be and I don't browse the forums all that much anymore either, and I thought I might've missed this particular problem being brought up and being rooted out by discussion but ya blah blah "suppression is worthless, doesn't matter at all, who cares" it's not a big deal I know but it's just one of those little things like really, are they that lazy/careless

Maybe the suppressors are too big for interior view? They might get in the way of something? Logically there should be a reason but who knows with rockstar.

ill have you know that if you use a weapon with low velocity ammo ( pistol, smg) and get a good, clean sneaky headshot on someone, while sneaking, and nobody is looking, nobody ever notices you just killed someone.

solid explanation that makes sense but damn that's really the reason? lame and I feel like they could've made it work if they really tried or at least done away with them totally because something about having the silencer on foot and then seconds later jumping in a car and it magically disappears feels really stupid

You can kill any lone A.I without alerting anyone and even have 2 A.I killed simultaneously without alerting others if they aren't really close.

 

In certain missions it helps to kill the lone guards before moving in but most of the time you'll get noticed eventually so going stealth isn't the best option imo ...but it is an option.

^ no they aren't, that's my main gripe with it. If it atleast was still silenced when shot (makes the suppressed gunfire noise, doesn't alert others if you kill them quickly enough, NOT f*cking loud, etc) but just without showing the silencer in first person I would be ok with that (well not really, that would probably be even more stupid) but it's just the fact that they've thrown the possibility of stealth drive bys out the f*cking window like damn this game loses more and more of the small little elements that add to the gameplay but I guess it's a balanced trade off for all else new we get in return?

People that find glitches/bugs are always the most surprised people ever. Like they just saw Bigfoot riding a unicorn in Central Park but no one else reacts to it except them. We know GTA:O is broken in some aspects. The thing people need to understand is that GTA:O is a platform that R* will build on so the amount of bug-fixing is still a ways to go until the game is near bug-free. There's no bug-less game and silencers not showing up/working in-car is a bug I'll take any day to say a bug where you stay stuck in the sky or the game fails to load a session so it puts you back in a session only to say it can't return to the session so it has a brain orgy and then puts you in single player, so confused that even Michael is falling through the sky unsure if he should be sitting in his house or sky diving.
