I'd love to see some superpower mods. I tried the lingon trainer but the ONE thing that wouldn't work was the super punch/kick :( if anyone knows how to do this using lua scripts or C++ please tell me

-Online players able to see

The function is already in the game (used by NPC police) so this wouldn't be too difficult, right? It will help greatly for my police roleplay.

Was curious if there was a mod that lets you turn the lights in Police/emergency vehicles on without the sirens. All that I've found focus on the turn indicator lights only.

I'd love to see a script/mod that lets you pick up/move bodies. Could combine it with the vehicle control script to load bodies in the trunk XD.

Hi guys, first post here :)

 

GTA is probably the only series where each next game has invariably improved on the past (and I've been playing the series since 1998), so it's really hard to complain about something, but a mod I'd really like would be one that increases the day/night cycle duration. I don't know how hard or easy this would be, but I know it was done in GTA 4 and it wasn't too hard even for me to mod there, so I hope I'll see such a mod sometime soon. I really like driving around the city at night, but by the time I've gotten in the mood for night driving and some good song has come up, it's already morning in the game, etc.

 

In that line of thinking, it would be really great if someone would code controls that allow the player to set the time he wants to wake up from sleep, or advance time to a given hour.

Don't know if it's been suggested just yet, but modders can end the Jetpack rumors/Chiliad mystery by injecting a jetpack into the game at long last. Not sure how complex/difficult this would be to do, but it is certainly something that should be high on any modding 'priority list' per se. Put the rumors to bed by just modding in a jetpack. Hell yeah.

Probably already been suggested. But I wouldn't mind a mod that basically allows us to use the Online Job Creator Interface to spawn props and etc in SinglePlayer. But with added features like adding NPCs and other possible triggers or scripted events. It would be great for Machinima, ie: if you're making a film about Michael infiltrating a Merryweather base, you can create a route with hand placed NPCs, maybe even add behaviour options to set the NPC to go hostile on sight, etc.

 

This is just a pipe dream, as I'd imagine something like this would require a huge amount of work.

Would any coder be interested in a script (preferably with ini setting) so you can set new time for police choppers respawn? It's really ridiculous they respawn in like two seconds after you destroy one...

I would like to see an open doors mod which allows you to enter interiors and walk out of the interiors without having to teleport. That would be a very useful mod in my opinion. :)

I've suggested a mod to grab and throw NPCs a few pages back. The behaviour shown in the gif above may be helpful. The script for constraining a canned animation to an Euphoria-simulated body already exists in the game; during shootouts, cops carry their injured partners to safety.

 

I don't know how far a stretch this is (I'm not a coder), but imagine that you come close to an NPC. You press a hotkey, and the player character goes into the "cook grenade" pose (the one that appears when you press the fire button while holding a grenade, without aiming). This places the player's right arm above the waist as if holding a cup. The NPC then becomes Euphoria-simulated (albeit still conscious, not limp like in the gif) and their neck is constrained to the player's right hand. From that point on, you can walk around (or even run, depending on strength) while dragging a writhing NPC by the neck. From there, you can either release them or throw them. The throw animation is strong, so God knows how far they'll go.

 

Does this sound doable?

Back in San Andreas there was a cheat code that armed all pedestrians and caused them to attack each other. The anarchy that ensued was one of the most fun things about the game in my opinion. Is it possible to write a script that will do this in V? I believe IV had some scripts that attempted this, but I can't recall ever getting any of them to function reliably on my computer.

An interesting mod would be stop a limit on how many cops there are. Like after 10 000 cops die, literally no more cops can spawn. Send the army in next. Then when the you kill them too activate riot mode for peds. Full panic mode.

wow, this would be great for improving stealth mechanics in game - hide bodies in shadows to that nobody could find them and panic! Nice! If only someone could fix the bug of props respawning instantly behind your back (which totally ruins splinter cell kind of stealth where you have to shoot all light sources, they simply respawn behind your back!).

A mod based on Hotline Miami game. Masks when weared give you specifics bonus, missions based on the game, no health regen, specific soundtrack, and highscores system based on time. Will be great to play this !

Has anyone suggested a green-screen mod? Essentially something that would turn your entire environment the same shade of green except for your character and anything you choose to spawn in. Could be great for creating videos.

I would like to see option that allowes you to park and exit car while wheels stay steered to side. Sorry for bad English, something like in Mafia.

Anybody working on a Paparazzi Mode or it would be too « hard » to create? I'm a big TMZ fan & sh*t Haha so I think it would be awesome to have a mode with Paps following you around and taking pictures/harassing you just like the Kardashians! I love the GTA V atmosphere but the « celebrity » aspect is not quite there so it'll be great to see that mode ASAP.

OK here's one for if/when we get mod-enabled private multiplayer services: Burnout Races

 

use whatever metrics the game uses to fill up Franklin's special ability gauge: driving fast, near misses, driving in oncoming traffic, slipstreaming, and patch that into Online racing

 

BUT since you obviously couldn't do F's special ability in a multiplayer match, make that ability gauge give us a turbo boost like it does with the Lectro (and, of course, like it does in the Burnout series)

 

if you wanted to really commit to the idea, make it so that any hit that gives you a certain amount of damage automatically makes you reset at a checkpoint, like the Burnout games do with crashing. Make it even more high risk/high reward to drive dangerously.

I'd like the ability to run out of fuel, in the handling.meta files there is a section which defines the size of the vehicles fuel tank, and also for its oil reservoir,when you running low it should beep every so often , giving you time to go to the petrol station and fill her up. Also random cars should have random levels of fuel and NPC's should run out of fuel also. Another good addition to this would be the ability to call a recovery service to come and tow your car to the nearest petrol station, similar to how a taxi would perform but picking up the car and unhooking it once at the destination

Also, there's a tag in the Meta for something called a "breakdown scenario", I'd like to see low end cars off the street have this come in after thrashing the car for a few mile, seems logical if it's already in the game engine.
