If you simply know someone is trying to troll, but he is not using harsh words and being offensive, but he is rather just posting things in the hopes of provoking anger(said posts are in no way contributing to the thread), should one report those or just let them be ?

I have a dumb question. If a member gets banned and no longer has access to their account, would another member be able to change their name to that of the banned member if they wanted to?

Not sure if it's what you're asking, but quoting it then copying the plain text will always work.

It doesn't seem to work for me for whatever reason. I just wanna post sivi saying "dank memes" in the Quotable Notables thread, but GTAF is like "nah".

Worked for me, not sure what's messing up for ya.

 

Just quoted the post, clicked in the reply box and used ctrl+a to select all, then cut and pasted it into the reply box of the other thread.

Do you mean when you cut/copy an entire quote (box and all) and try to paste it somewhere else, but it doesn't actually show it being pasted at all? If so, I have the same problem, but I don't know if it's a Chrome problem or something.

I always use plain text as it is what I prefer. So as RedDagger said, copy the quote in plain text and it will work.

Yeah, that's the exact problem I have. I thought it might just be NoScript at work--I use Firefox, I don't even know why anymore--but I guess not.

Dealing with that same thing for a month or so, whenever I past it doesn't show on the preview and then put the paste at the bottom of the post, no matter where I paste it.

Yeah, I'm gonna do what RedDagger mentioned, sounds really convenient. I always did Ctrl+A then Ctrl+P on another page but whatever I posted was invisible. One time I actually got it to be visible, the quote and whatever I pasted was repeated 3 or 4 times. T'was pretty freaky.

 

If mods and admins can read posts prior to them being edited, they might see a post like that somewhere in my history... can mods do that BTW?
