I think all I know about Voodoo is that he collects troll dolls. But he gives off a pretty cool vibe to me with the little I know of him.

Why is it that at the bottom of a page, where you see who's currently viewing the thread, sometimes "Google", "Yahoo" or "Bing" appear?

Heck, I've seen "Chrome Mobile" or something I think.

 

Sometimes it appears, sometimes it doesn't, so if it had to do with which browser/search engine people are using then I'm not sure why it doesn't appear always.

They're web crawlers, which index/keep a record of pages for their search engine.

A. These are called bots. You can't access their profiles because 'they' don't have one. Bots are mainly used for search engine indexing.

Hey folks what ever happened to the snapmatic awards, I don't recall there was anything after those nominations?

Hi Andy, the Snapmatic judging team is waiting for a Network Admin to set up the voting booth for us. The nominations are counted and everything is ready to go but the guy who codes the forum skin is out of the country atm. Rather than rush through a half assed job, the decision has been made to wait and do things properly.

 

A proper announcement will be posted very soon

Might be something to do with the hidden votes skin, it's how mine looks as well on chrome.

It's because that specific section has a modified skin. Normally, if you started a poll, anybody would be able to view the results - but we didn't want that. GTAF Staff helped out and came through with a solution, and the very minuscule like button glitch seems to be the only drawback from it all.

It's not a bug, everyone is going to see it, because it's an unpolished old version of the skin. I'm sure we can live without the proper button for 2 weeks..

I'll bite. When someone whom has posted something like the reprehensible bullsh*t quoted below (for which they were given a lengthy suspension and final warning), comes back a month later with a Swastika avatar and Nazi member title and signature, it speaks to reason that they get banned on the spot.

 

The "my brother, uncle, distant cousin thrice removed, neighbours' chinchilla did it" shtick is the oldest excuse in the book". But even if there were to be any truth to it, at the end of the day it is his account, so it is his responsibility to keep any alleged anti-Semitic siblings from spouting their crap under his name.
