How often does information get sent out?

We don't use it, as it would take forever to e-mail every member on record.

 

 

Then why is the option to be sent news and information there at all?

 

It's in case GTAForums gets threatened by that Nigerian Prince again, it's the forums "get out of jail card". You see the threat gets made, we say "here have all these email addresses" and then Prince takes them and then sends everyone emails asking for $1,000.00 and then once he's claimed back his fortune you'll get $500,000 back.

 

I thought that was kinda obvious myself, but hey...

Why hasn't MrBossFTW been banned yet? The way he goes about things here, he's a troll, more or less. Whenever someone logically tells him no one wants him around, he just says some typical troll response like 'Okay' or 'No thanks'.

This is true in all aspects, banning him pretty much will mean nothing and will solve nothing. He can still access the forums without being signed in and can still take all the content for he's "Videos" if he wanted too. Except you won't know that he visited here until he releases he's next video talking about the information that obviously comes from this site itself.

 

I also highly doubt GTAForums has anything in the control Administrator control panel that blocks IP's from reaching the site. Even if there was it still wouldn't be worth it as it could just be as easily bypassed using a VPN / Proxy.

Severe lack of context. If he is whom I think he is, and since he alleges to have been banned 3 days ago it can only be him: He's a 4 time PBM initially banned for going on a racist tirade against a staff member after being warned for a racist post, after which he proceeded to make a troll account with a racial epithet and the forum name of a staff member in the name. Since he has made 3 other accounts all of which have been banned due to him being a PBM, most recent of which 3 days ago.

 

Reddit can have him.

Which is your policy on avatars?

I've seen users with Columbine shooters and Jeffrey Dahmmer avies in the past, but is allowed to use Hitler or similar type of images as avatar?

Not as far as I am aware but there are limits as to how many smileys you can use, how many images (40 images per post), how many quotes etc. I am not sure on the exact specifics of each one though, other than the images.

 

Also, Topic Titles have a character limit which is set at 70 Characters including Spaces.

As said above, When a user visits your profile they are able to give you a 'rating' by clicking on one of the stars (1 to 5). The amount of stars displayed is an average of the ratings that have been given to your profiles. Edited January 26, 2016 by GTAKid667
