We get lot's of new members on here asking how to put U-Tube videos, images, images in spoilers on here etc... I think we need a page dedicated for those types problems and questions.

There already exists such a Guide.

how come the GTA V forum is the only one with a "gameplay" section

 

Both the GTA V and GTA Online forums have a gameplay subforum. Discussions have been held as to whether they would be best merged or left alone. There are valid arguments for both sides.

 

At the moment the general philosophy is that is it better to have them and not need them, rather than need them and not have them.

 

Of course, this is a living, breathing forum and so things may change in the future.

 

 

Also the only one with a 'PC Section'... Hmm.

 

The original PC speculation began as a series of turbulent topics in the GTA V forum and when confirmation of PC Release was announced, the PC subforum was created to handle the massive amount of interest in this platform. Again, the subforum could be merged into the main board but for the time being, 'it ain't broke so there's no need to fix it'.

Members will not see you on the most recent visitors list.

We won't upgrade until we're happy enough with ipb4, I wouldn't expect it to happen before five or six months.

Ipb 4 is not really an upgrade but made from scratch instead, so it's still buggy, missing features and there's been several security patches. As this is a board with a huge amount of user interaction we better of waiting and avoiding unneed issues.

 

Plus none of our old and current themes will work there, and we will need to re-do them.

It's almost crazy to think that IPB 4 has been gold for nearly a year now and it's still a bit of a mess. Invision takin' their sweet ass time
