Richard Power Colt
Rules: 1. Don't be a dick 2. Take arguing elsewhere 3. Don't post off-topic like always Gonna start off with Gravity. I don't really hate it, but the dialogue was kinda awful imo. It was fun at the theater, because of the visuals, but I really couldn't see myself wanting to watch it at home. Same kinda goes with Avatar. I actually tried to watch it when it was on TV some time ago, but I got bored halfway through. It's just stupidly cheesy and the plot is pretty much Pocahontas in space. paperbagdude
I do enjoy the Despicable Me movies, but honestly; this devotion people have for these minions is just overrated as f*ck. Minion merchandise here, 500 apps about minions there. People won't stop. Now that there's even a movie coming dedicated to them, I don't see a very bright future tbh. universetwisters, The Dedito Gae, Payne Killer and 2 others
Trillest
I fully agree with you about the minions. I don't have high hopes for an entire movie dedicated to them, because it never works when you put the comic relief as the main focus.

cactus.
The Kill Bill movies. Great for action, obviously, with some cool choreography, but apart from that its story and characters were cookie-cutter as f*ck. Completely forgettable film.
CanUplsStopThat
The dark knight rises-major and minor plot holes, the plot itself isn't explained well, disappointing ending, batman don't show up a lot,too long and too boring, the action wasn't that great Just to let you know the dark knight is one of the best movies i have ever watched I won't include avatar or titanic because you are all plain dumb for keep saying it's overrated, those two movies got more hate than they actually deserves, they might be overrated in some point but now nah man Also The hobbit-very overrated the help gladiator Edited July 6, 2015 by CanUplsStopThat

TheMcSame
They way I see it, if it's popular it's probably going to be overrated... Anyway, the one stand out franchise for me... Fast and Furious Monty Python and the Holy Grail is one that pops up as well, this is where it's important to know that overrated =/= bad because it's a pretty decent movie, it's just overrated. Trillest
The Hunger Games. I did not like it all. I thought the concept was kinda unique, but the execution was sloppy and just fell flat. Also, some of the acting left a lot to be desired. I f*cking hate it when people hype it up to be a cinematic masterpiece. It's not even close to be deserving of that title. Richard Power Colt
I thought Drive was terrible and boring, Nightcrawler is another Lol, Drive is one of my favorite movies. Nightcrawler on the other hand, I didn't dislike it, but I didn't see why everyone appreciated it so much. I thought it was kinda repetitive and I wish it had explored the character more. It probably would have worked better for me as a sort of rise and fall story.
acmilano
Blade Runner-I know all the praise for the film, its cult status, and it does have artistic quality. But for me personally,it was little too dark and too monotonuous. So I never get into that one. Just my opinion. Aliens-great movie and I liked it,but it make rest of the franchise forgotten. And when they talk about fans of the franchise its like they are fans of those Colonial Marines and nothing else. I actually watched Alien 3 first and liked it,and later watched all other films, and now there is a chance that 3 and 4 will become a non-cannon and Alien 5 will be basicaly sequel to the Aliens. Maybe it would be better if Cameron just direct Starship Troopers sequel, becouse that is closer to what Aliens fanboys actually want. Claptrap NL
Scarface with Al Pacino. It's a good movie, but most people have no idea how they got the name and that it's a remake of the Scarface back from the early 30's where it all went about the alcohol which was forbidden. Kinda reminds me, I recently watched the original Alien and I think I would have loved it at its time, but on modern-standards the Alien looked way too fake for me to take very seriously. Not saying they should go with CGI, but just saying that the practical alien in that movie isn't that convincing nowadays. Other than that I thought the movie is still great though. The atmosphere is phenomenal.
